February 6, 20169 yr Ruslana did say all the right things. That the public should vote not based on some little things here and there but on the big picture and the potential results at Eurovision. BITCH KNOWS IT #jamalatowin
February 10, 20169 yr I can't stop watching Jamala's performance, I just love it so much. The way the song starts so quietly and eerie, then the way the volume builds in the second verse, then that middle 8 with the massive a capella note culminating in the production crashing back in for the final chorus and then just when you thought you'd reached the peak she pulls out this insane high note effortlessly. Add all that to the message behind the song and it is just wow! Now I know it is stupid of me to throw around the phrase "Eurovision winner" and before now the closest thing I've heard to a potential Eurovision winner is probably Mikael Saari and was tempted to do so to Justs earlier today as well but I am going to throw that phrase at this song more than any other I've heard so far this Eurovision season, it's a certain top 5 anyway as long as it gets through this national final of course!
February 11, 20169 yr Buzzjack peoples love anti-Soviet/Russian song, you are so predictable. :puke: With all blind and stupid russophobia in Europe, Ukrainian participant even don't need to sing for win in Eurovision. :lol: Edited February 11, 20169 yr by Yours # 1Enemy
February 11, 20169 yr You coming here expressing your anti-Europe racist homophobic c**t views is way more predictable. f*** off.

February 11, 20169 yr Jamala has made The Guardian newspaper! http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/feb/...e-at-eurovision
February 13, 20169 yr The choreography and STRUTTING by the backup dancer in the last perf was ON POINT. Shame the song was totally unmemorable.
February 13, 20169 yr NuAngels were really really good, I was expecting weak vocals but I was totally proven wrong. The only issue they have is their strong accents but overall I think that would win if Jamala wasn't in the selection!
February 21, 20169 yr TONIGHT'S NATIONAL FINAL... http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z369/RC741/Eurovision%20Logos/Ukraine_zps6c63b786.png UKRAINE Natsionalnyi Vidbir 21st February 2016 Begins at 5pm in the UK, 6pm in Central Europe and 7pm in Ukraine The first part of the show is scheduled to last 2 hours and, following a break of 1 hour 20 minutes, the second part of the show is scheduled to last a further 3 hours (:o) Watch the selection on Eurovision.tv or via the official YouTube webcast Running Order Click ♫ to listen to each song (studio versions where available)! 01 | ♫ Brunettes Shoot Blondes - Every Monday 02 | NuAngels - Higher 03 | The Hardkiss - Helpless 04 | Jamala - 1944 05 | SunSay - Love Manifest 06 | Pur:Pur - We Do Change Voting The voting will be decided by 50% jury vote and 50% televote. Each will give 6 points to their favourite, 5 points to their second favourite and so on. The winner will be the entry with the most points when the two rankings are combined. In the event of a tie, the televote result will take precedence. As with the semi-finals, the 3 jury members will be composer and producer Konstantin Meladze, 2007 Eurovision entrant Andriy Danylko (Verka Serduchka) and 2004 Eurovision winner Ruslana. Potential Winners? At the time of writing, Betfair has odds but only for four of the finalists and not for Jamala or NuAngels. Of the 4, SunSay is favourite on odds of 3/1. However, based on the results from the semi-finals, it is expected to be a clear race between Jamala and SunSay who both scored maximum points from the jury and televote in their respective semi-finals, and both achieved around 50% of the televote - SunSay got a slightly higher percentage in a semi-final with slightly less votes. So it is all to play for! Guest Performers 2016 Irish entrant Nicky Byrne has been confirmed to perform 'Sunlight' at some point during tonight's show. Further details available at ESC Today

February 21, 20169 yr Drama in Ukrayina as the two favourites may break Eurovision rules. SunSay have done an Anja Nissen and performed their song in 2015 a lot except it was actually a year ago. And Jamala's lyrics in the chorus have apparently been 'borrowed' from a traditional Crimean Tatar song.
February 21, 20169 yr multiple good quality recordings from summer '15 are already breaking the rules. these people ;_;
February 21, 20169 yr Ukraine have been amazingly kind and have provided a stream with live English commentary! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwXBwXR1Jhs :heart:
February 21, 20169 yr style over substance the phrase that can describe hardkiss entirely they are calling themselves musical innovators in ukraine. LOL yeah no one ever did what you did there
February 21, 20169 yr Ruslana the only one giving totally positive comments to Jamala with the other two being very mixed, it'll be interesting to see what they say to SunSay...
February 21, 20169 yr Ruslana will probably rank her top but the other two are going to put her near the bottom by the sounds of it. So Jamala will have to hope she wins the televote and hope that SunSay aren't more than one place ahead of her in the combined jury vote. Not Ruslana being the sensible one in the end!
February 21, 20169 yr That is ridicuous. Her semifinal critique was SO positive! Hardly anything (but the dress) changed since then. What the f***
February 21, 20169 yr That is ridicuous. Her semifinal critique was SO positive! Hardly anything (but the dress) changed since then. What the f*** I'd have thought you'd sympathise with someone doing the equivalent of dropping a track from 1st to 20th in their rankings with barely any change to explain it.
February 21, 20169 yr NOT this massive discussion between the jury about the eligibility of SunSay. Edited February 21, 20169 yr by Alex!
