How 4th Impact have gone over Reggie 'n' Bollie is really annoying. British public, please don't let them make the final, I beg you!

The sing-off song title was quite ironic though.

Aww I wanted 4th Impact in the semifinal. :(

Because Reggie n Bollie have a market, 4th Impact don't.

I love Rita Ora, but you can't be sure your act is safe because they were high on iTunes. Has anyone considered maybe they just liked the song?

Sorry did they say Linoel Richie is next weeks guest?

No guest mentor. My guess is Bieber will be on next week.

In the early series they always got "legendary" guest mentors who then either performed a classic hit, a new song or something with the contestants. So I feel like he will be performing.

I am surprised we haven't had the likes of Adele, Justin, Ariana performing even Take That (although it's been nice not to have them for once.)

Apparently Cold Play have been confirmed for the final.

That was possibly the best sing off I've seen since Laura vs Ruth.

So so pleased Lauren stayed. She absolutely nailed Vision of Love and has kind of overtaken Louisa as my favourite after that

Yeah, it's quite disappointing, but we all saw it coming. It made it worse because 4I were astonishingly good in the sing off, and while Lauren was good, 4I were much more powerful.

Rita came across really bitter in the sing off. I've liked her throughout the series but her digs against 4I were so pathetic, she basically said they wouldn't sell records, and I think most people would agree they're a lot more marketable than Lauren!

Che and R&B going through was a joke.

poor Lauren will probably leave tonight, and on the week where she performed the best. I imagine producers want her out so the vote between her/Louisa isn't split.

Why on Earth some people keep on thinking the producers decide who stays in and who goes out? The producers don't give a shit who wins the bloody show, just look at last year's winner, they make their money out of the TV ads and possibly the tour, they don't care if the winner is a popstar or not.

And anyway you "imagined" wrong since Lauren is through to next week anyway.

I'm really struggling to care now about any of it. 4th impact were just as bad at being a 1 trick pony and over-singing as most of the others.

Disagree. It's better for the brand the more successful the winner is. The show is lucky the likes of JLS/One Direction/Olly Murs have been so successful. I mean in 11 series there have been 3 winners that I would class as successful artists, and even one of those I'm being kind at.

The producers want a successful winner, but they also want great TV.

I agree.

Also I'm thinking you mean Little Mix, Leona and Alexandra at the one you're being kind with?

Little Mix are the only X Factor winner to have retained a stagnant amount of success into their third album.

RnB are gonna be in the final *.* Amazing. Shame about 4th Impact as they are clearly extremely talented (and potentially successful if they get the right management), but I think they'd come as far as they can go. I'm certain they'll gun for Lauren next week, similar story (even though I still think her performance last night was a series high :'()
I agree.

Yup.

To be fair, Leona was completely different. That first era of hers was unreal, she had worldwide domination. Shame for her that her 2nd album was such poop.

The problem the show has, is that traditionally, the ones that vote are the ones that don't buy music. Or Syco just have no idea how to market (yes Matt Cardle).

I honestly think it is even more simple than that, ok maybe Sam prison lady and Leon Jackson were lost causes, but to me it is that first single. The acts who have made a career from the show had a killer first single. Trouble is the winners tend to get a very very play it safe first single. You'd think they had learned with the Girls Aloud/One True Voice that taking a risk with the first single can pay off hugely.

Wings, That's what makes you beautiful, Beat Again, Bleeding Love, Bad boys etc really good first singles.

Matt Cardle is probably the worst, they gave him a tuneless rape anthem.
