Never the biggest fan of UK Garage, but When The Bassline Drops is actually genius - it manages to sound both to sound both modern and gloriously retro simultaneously, a great fusion between 2000 and 2015. Similar to Grace actually but referencing a different era!

 

I wonder though who's actually buying it, as time's moved on enough so that today's 18/19 year olds hadn't even started nursery school during UKG's peak so I don't see how it's nostalgic for them - more those in their mid-twenties onwards who remember it from childhood. Maybe the great Oxide & Neutrino revival of 2016 is on its way.

I'm happy to see Lauren doing the best of TXF contestants :D The comments were ridiculous, she was the best of the night and they know it, but sadly she's not a 'chosen one'

So happy to see Grace & G-Eazy at number 4. Hoping she does some promo in the UK soon, by far one of my favorite songs of this year. Lauren absolutely smashed it also. Hoping for top 3!

What aided 'Jealous' the first time? I'm really struggling to remember who performed it (who hasn't performed it this season!)

Why is Grace - You Don't Own Me at #4 now? I've been out so don't know what might have caused this.

It must be because lots of new people are buying the Xmas Songs each year.

I don't understand why for Christmas songs people just don't buy one good Christmas physical cd album with all the classics then you never have to buy them again for the rest of your life and can just put them on your iPod etc every xmas

I had to download a few Xmas songs that didn't transfer to my new iTunes library so maybe that contributes?
