December 2, 20159 yr Author 17. Stacey Solomon - Shy Well I can tell you, no one was as releived as me when Stacey Solomon finally released her long awaited debut album. In all honesty this was not the sound I expected from her, but it works very well. The title track is what really got me hooked, a fantastic effort from Stacey. On the plus side, I no longer have to listen to 'Driving Home For Christmas' when I want to get my Stacey Solomon fix
December 3, 20159 yr There will be a lot of Nick Jonas on my EOY as well! Just curious: what's your opinion on DNCE?
December 3, 20159 yr Author 16. Selena Gomez - Revival So winning the ever present Selena VS Demi battle in the albums, is Selena Gomez with 'Revival'. When I heard the lead single 'Good For You' I was instantly interested in what this would sound like and whether or not it would deliver tracks as good as the vocal. When 'Same Old Love' dropped I knew that I was fully on board with the 'Revival' campaign. Not just because Charli XCX wrote the song :kink: . 'Sober' is the highlight of the album. It is far to good to be left as an album track!
December 3, 20159 yr Author 15. CHVRCHES - Every Open Eye Kicking off the top 15 is the second studio album by Scottish band CHVRCHES! 'Every Open Eye' made me fall in love with the band, the album is incredible and each track is at least a solid 8/10. 'Leave A Trace' is 100 percent my highlight of the album with 'Clearest Blue' a close second! :cheer:
December 3, 20159 yr Author 14. Leona Lewis - I Am At number 14 is the fifth studio album by Leona Lewis. 'I Am' exceeded all my expectations after I was incredibly disappointed with 'Glass Heart'. As soon as I heard 'Fire Under My Feat' I knew that I would thoroughly enjoy this album. 'Thunder' and 'I Am' were fantastic follow up singles, as are album tracks 'Power' and 'Ladders'. I am however annoyed that she released another song called 'I Got You'. The original single is one of my favourite tracks from Leona and the new song was very disappointing. Nevertheless, Leona's vocals sound incredible on the album and I am happy that she finally gets to be the artist she wants to be!
December 3, 20159 yr Author 13. Samantha Jade - Nine 'Nine' by Samantha Jade is next in the countdown. After numerous flop singles, Samantha Jade finally released her second studio album last month. 'Shake That' served as the lead single from the album which in some ways I am happy but sad about. In all honesty I am absolutely gutted that pop masterpieces such as 'Sweet Talk' , 'Soldier' and 'UP!' Were not included because they are my favourite songs by her. Anyway, onto the album. 'Shake That' was instant with me and the added verse from Pitbull makes the song much more fun. Personally the best 2 tracks open the album - 'Always' and 'Naked.' Samantha's vocals sound incredible on both which make the album so much more pleasing to the ears.
December 3, 20159 yr Author 12. Ella Eyre - Feline Another long awaited album follows 'Nine' as Ella Eyre finally released her outstanding debut album 'Feline'. After failing to get a top 10 hit due to streaming, I was apprehensive that we were never going to get this album from Ella. However it was definitely worth the wait. All the right singles were picked from the album, however 'Comeback' and 'Together' remain my favourites. In terms of album tracks, 'Two' and 'Even If' are both 11/10 moments for me. Her vocals are so unique and lush. A brilliant debut!
December 3, 20159 yr Author 11. The Veronicas - The Veronicas Missing the top 10 is the self titled album from Australian duo 'The Veronicas'. After hearing 'You Ruin Me' I was intrigued about the album after only really liking 'Untouched' and 'Lolita' from their discography. When second single 'If You Love Someone' dropped I knew that this would be a very strong album. Other tracks that stand out for me are 'Cruel' and 'Always'
December 4, 20159 yr Selena , CHVRCHES , Leona  and Ella  All great albums although in Leona's Another Love song not getting a mention :frankie:
December 4, 20159 yr Author 10. Marina and The Diamonds - Froot Kicking off a jam packed top 10 is the 3rd studio album from Welsh singer Marina Diamandis. 'Froot' for me is arguably her weakest album, but it is incredibly solid. 'I'm A Ruin' is definitely the strongest and best song on it. Her vocals are incredible and the song as a whole just fits the album, and indeed Marina perfectly. 'Blue' comes a close second with it's melodic verses and catchy chorus. 'Forget' is another highlight on the album, as well as 'Savages'. In fact the only song I didn't like was 'Gold.' Well played Marina, Well Played! :cheer:
December 4, 20159 yr Author 9. Charli XCX - Sucker Following Marina is a previous support act of hers, Charli XCX. Charli's rebellious school girl pop punk image made me interested in her as a singer when I first heard 'Superlove'. In terms of 'Sucker', I don't feel it is as strong as her debut, but it definitely has it's moments. I remember hating 'London Queen' when I first heard it, however now I absolutely adore it. 'Doing It' remains and absolute tune and so do 'Breaking Up' and 'Famous'. Like Marina, I was lucky enough to see Charli perform the album live which made me appreciate her so much more as an artist.
December 4, 20159 yr Author 8. Adele - 25 Sitting comfortably in the top 10 is the long awaited third studio album from Adele. I knew she had a lot to live up to with the success of 25, however I was not execting the album to be as fantastic as it is. 'Hello' hit me hard. What an incredible single to comeback with! It is also the perfect album opener  . 'When We Were Young' and 'Send My Love' are also incredible tracks. I was not expecting to like 'Remedy' as much as I do, so I guess all in all it is a VERY strong album!
December 5, 20159 yr Revival is really good, I agree with you it is stronger than Demi's for sure! I love her new change of sound, RNB works really well for her and all the tracks on it are really strong, shame it was out of the top 100 after a few weeks. Sober has to be a single for sure! Every Open Eye was even an improvement on the first album which I wasn't expecting. Leave a Trace is up there with their best singles. I agree Clearest Blue is a big highlight, hopefully a future single. Sucker was a lot of fun, shame it went under the radar really, excited for the next album now, hope a new single isn't TOO far away. Need Ur Luv should've been a massive #1 though, not sure why she released Famous over that. Not listened to 25, I'm intrigued to listen to it when she decides to make it available for streaming but not gonna spend a tenner on it when it'll likely be same old, same old and that wasn't that interesting in the first place anyway... Great albums in here Cameron, excited to see what is to come.
December 5, 20159 yr Author 7. Halsey - Badlands Another incredible debut album sits securely in the top 10. This time it is Halsey's 'Badlands'. What an unexpected joy of an album! I never thought I would love the album as much as I do, it is sublime. Let's cut to the chase, the best song for me personally is 'Colors'. 'Colors' was the most instant song for me, from the word go I loved it which is why it debuted at number 1 in my personal chart. In addition to 'Colors', other highlights from the album include 'Ghost' , 'Castle' and 'Haunting'. Actually, all the tracks on 'Badlands' are incredible. She should be proud of such a solid album!
December 5, 20159 yr Author 6. Gabrielle Aplin - Light Up The Dark Just missing the top 5 of my end of year chart is Gabrielle Aplin's second studio album, 'Light Up The Dark'. Before I go into detail on the album, I just want to say that she will never top 'English Rain' for me. A few weeks ago I was listening to 'English Rain' in full and it dawned on me how much of a masterpiece it is. I don't care how pathetic it sounds, it is the truth! :o Anyway, for me this album was an extremely strong follow up and see's Gabrielle experiment with a new sound. The title track, 'Light Up The Dark', hit me by surprise. It was such a grower and after a few listens I was hooked. The follow up single 'Sweet Nothing' is absolutely incredible! It is so catchy and very different for Gabrielle - which is not a bad thing! :D In terms of album tracks, 'Skeleton' is my absolute favourite. 11/10  'Fools Love' and 'Hurt' are also rather good! ;) :heehee:
December 5, 20159 yr Author 5. Kelly Clarkson - Piece By Piece Kicking off a jam packed top 5 is one of my favourite people on the planet, American singer Kelly Clarkson. When I heard Kelly would be releasing her new album this year I was so excited, I have loved all of her previous efforts so I knew that 'Piece By Piece' would be another incredible album from her! Boy was I right! Obviously I absolutely adore the lead single 'Heartbeat Song', but for me the real grower and indeed highlight of the album is the second single, 'Invincible'. The Sia written track is a very underrated song here on Buzzjack, which is rather disappointing. 'Piece By Piece' was my third favourite song on the album, so obviously I was ecstatic when it was revealed as the third official single! :cheer:
December 5, 20159 yr Author 4. Little Mix - Get Weird "WHAT" I hear you say, "Cameron ACTUALLY :jameela: charting a Little Mix album?!?" Yes it is true, as of recent I have been converted into a Little Mix stan. This is an incredible album with so many 10/10 moments, however I am going to leave you with one sentence. 'Secret Love Song Part II' slays my entire existence.
December 5, 20159 yr Little Mix here :o :o YASSS CAMI LI *.* Easily one of the best albums this year and such a fantastic pop album  Your whole top 10 is amazing- especially Marina and Charli- and can't wait to see the top 3
