Welcome to my official top 100 songs of 2015. This is mainly for personal reference/reflection but any comments/feedback is more than welcome :) so let's get right to it.

The format is a relatively simple one, each week I post a top 40 and points are awarded as follows: 40 to #1, 39 to #2 etc. all the way down to 1 point for #40 - these have all been tallied up to arrive at a overall list which I am about to begin to reveal :cheer:

One small footnote is this won't "technically" be a list of 2015 - as it will include the first 6 weeks of my Personal Chart (i.e. the last 6 weeks of 2014) commencing November of last year and exclude the final 6 weeks of this year. But I have done this so the countdown will be complete before the year is out and it hopefully won't be done in one mad rush! (Plus those first 6 weeks will count towards something)

A grand total of 295 songs have charted on Dobbo's Top 40s (up to and including 17/11/2015) but only just over the top third bracket will be appearing here. I hope any readers enjoy the countdown and here goes!

Before we kickoff proper, here are the unfortunate tracks that just missed the top 100. Of course a few of these are still currently charting so will most likely be appearing on next year's list but anyway we have what we have and that's the way it's fallen!

NB: * denotes still charting

101. Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - Outside

Total points: 153

Chart run: 7-10-11-17-25-31-34-40

102. Stormzy - Shut Up

Total points: 152

Chart run: 4-2-3-3*

103. Kiesza ft. Djemba-Djemba - Give It To The Moment

Total points: 149

Chart run: 5-7-13-16-31-X-33-33

104. Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand

Total points: 147

Chart run: 20-22-26-30-24-35-23-18-32-33

105. OMI ft. AronChupa - Drop In The Ocean

Total points: 143

Chart run: 10-12-12-11-17*

Expecting a lot of Ella Eyre up high here, The Prodigy too. Maybe a track at least top 10 for each.

Shame to see Outside out, was massive for me last year, still in love with that violin drop even now.

Looking forward to this Dobbo, will be interesting to see what comes out on top for you ^_^

Thanks Rob! It's a close one at the top :o

They are fairly safe bets :P but how high can they go?

Yeah Outside would have most certainly made it had I been posting Charts earlier, alas it entered as it was slowly tiring on me. I do love it too though.

Looking forward to this Dobbo

Ew at Shut Up, hate that song :kink: Outside is very good and I absolutely adore Hold My Hand

Not a Stormzy fan then? ;) Hold My Hand really should have had a better run here but just didn't ever fully click.

I thought Hold My Hand might be higher for some reason! A good song even if I didn't *love* it, good start :D Excited for what's to come!

only like 'Hold My Hand' from those and 'Shut Up' isn't that bad really #controversialopinion :P

thanks Josh for reminding me about Ella showing up in this chart

My guess would be top 3 of Good Times, Cool, The Day is My Enemy in that order!

Understandable given I do rave on her at times  but she has just the 2 appearances in this list!

Yesss for Shut Up hype :cheer:

17 weeks at #1 between them definitely spells high positions :D

g'wan the Stormz

'Know Me From' / 'WickedSkengMan 4' to come? ;o

Amazingly not, neither actually charted at all! I'm not too big on Skegman but Know Me From is quite good!

100. Lost Frequencies (feat. Janieck Devy) - Reality

Total points: 154

Chart run: 3-8-17-23-28-35-39-36-35-32

Just scraping into the top 100 it's Lost Frequencies with Reality. The follow up to the massive Are You With Me this peaked just one position lower but had a rather swift exit from the chart by comparison. I actually didn't rate this at all at first but it majorly grew and entered in the top 3. Unfortunately it couldn't hold out for longer than 10 weeks despite the little recovery towards the end of its run but it still clings on to a top 100 placing.

'Ey Rudeboy, Shut Up!'

Love me some Stormzy!

You and me both, I did love him going top 20 although I wished it was with this song!

99. Justin Bieber - Sorry

Total points: 155

Chart run: 3-1-1-4*

The current official UK #1 next of Justin Bieber's Sorry. This song has only been charting a month yet manages to find its way into the top 100, making it the track with the fewest weeks to feature here! Bieber was truly back with a bang in 2015, with Where Are U Now shooting to #1 and What Do You Mean a top 3 single. Sorry returned the Biebs to #1 where it stayed for 2 weeks before being knocked off by Sigma's Coming Home. Expect this track to be MUCH higher in next year's countdown.

98. Blonde & Pianoman - Cast A Spell

Total points: 157

Chart run: 25-6-12-14-20-23-34-37

Blonde's only appearance in this countdown is not of one of their singles but in fact a free download put out by the group towards the start of the year. This is a reworking of the original Cast A Spell produced simply by Pianoman himself 20 years ago and my WORD did this hit me hard! It's not too dissimilar to the original which is perhaps why I like it just as much but this throwback number is still my top Blonde track to this day! The chart run suggests it didn't stick around in high regard for long but as we know that can be very deceptive.

Good start so far Jess Ha Glynne and OMG Calvin/Ellie missing out :(

Bieber tho

Yeah a tough exclusion but someone has to be #101 sadly!

How many times we will be seeing him.

97. L'Tric - This Feeling

Total points: 161

Chart run: 15-12-16-17-24-29-24-35-36

Up next another track with very much a 90s feel, This Feeling from Australian dance duo L'Tric. This catchy house track received decent radio 1 support however it couldn't find its way into the mainstream. It does at least chart here though :) I first came across this while surfing YouTube and instantly loved it from the off, a track that really makes you want to jump up and dance along. It managed decent longevity for a non-top 10 peaking track and just about makes the grade for the top 100.
