January 2, 20169 yr KDA & Deorro are both tunes. It was good to see Tinie continue his run of getting easy number one hits.
January 3, 20169 yr Author KDA and Also Axwell and Ingrosso YASSS Stan Constant, So glad I entered this song even though it is one of my least faves I have sent  It's definitely my fave of yours so far, would have been a consideration of mine too had I joined earlier :D This chart is amazing, looking forward to seeing who your #1 is :D Glad you're enjoying it Lee, hopefully will speed this up a bit soon! KDA debuting at #1 was great to see! Alas, it's not one of my absolute faves and missed my EOY Hot 100. Silver lined is another great tune in the section  much preferred it to 'Do It Well' so was quite disappointing to see that do a lot better in BJSC. Yeah wasn't in my top 5 #1s of the year but I was enjoying it a good length of time to warrant its place here. Agreed on that, Do It Well was good but not amazing so surprised it outperformed Silverlined. Sun is Shining :music: banging tune. A/\I have beeen great this year. 2016 to continue the greatness please :cheer: KDA is great, didn't reach the "loving" stage for me though unfortunately. FMH was the same really but both are still great songs  Only that 1 track that's done anything for me but it shows they are more than capable! I see what you mean, it never really hit that stage with me either but always something I enjoy if played. Thought I'd have a look at this since your personal chart is a+ from what i've seen :D YASS at XYconstant in the top 100 *__* My fave song of October. Such a nice tune right? Hope you'll enjoy what's left to come! I was never really impressed with Sun Is Shining to be honest, it was something I'd only leave on a music channel if every other channel was either unavailable, at a break or playing an awful song. I don't want to hear Five More Seconds of that Deorro track, but Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) is such a bop! That was exactly how I felt about Something New! (Which really wasn't anything new at all). Sun Is Shining on the other hand just stood out to me a lot more. I'm assuming you'd prefer the instrumental version? At least that option is always there :P Hi Dobbo Lovely to see KDA make it here, I wasn't huge on it at first either but you can't help but get into how energetic and loud it is. I imagine it would sound great in a club if I was 18  Five More Hours is another great Chris track from last year, I agree with you on how brilliant his 2014 was. It was a nice little track and I loved the production, was never expecting it to be hit so glad it did when it was finally released. Lovely stuff! Yeah I can confirm it does sound great! I'm a little over it now really it was spammed a bit too much by radios/music channels which has taken its blossom off a little. Chris is going from strength to strength really, shame streaming denied him a second UK #1 (though I wasn't even expecting top 10). The way he's going I can't see it staying that way for long hopefully! KDA & Deorro are both tunes. It was good to see Tinie continue his run of getting easy number one hits. He is on a roll right now with 4 in a row! Hopefully his final album will be a killer one  'Turn The Music Louder' :music: such a earworm jam  A favourite of many it seems! Was good to see Katy B finally register a deserved #1 too.

January 3, 20169 yr Author 55. LunchMoney Lewis - Bills _IrQHeDcMi8 Total points: 235 Chart run: 21-14-12-15-9-7-13-12-31 Oh this song. Certainly something I did get tired of eventually and not something I'd actively listen to right now but for a brief period at least I was really loving it. One of those novelty tracks that comes around every so often out of nowhere and takes off, I wasn't a huge fan early on before it began to win me over. It is undeniably catchy and contains oh-so relatable lyrics that always provided a fun, bouncy listen come rain or shine. It was another song to be denied UK #1 thanks to streaming and managed a 9 week run in this chart.
January 3, 20169 yr Author 54. Sigala - Sweet Lovin' qj5zT4t7S6c Total points: 237 Chart run: 5-5-5-8-11-7-9* A track still very much racking up weeks in my current chart next in Sigala's Sweet Lovin'. Sigala provided a brilliant debut single in the Jackson-inspired Easy Love and I really thought he would have to go some to outdo that, but outdo that he did! This is a truly brilliant listen every time with such joyous production and happy-go-lucky vocals. Initially I had concerns the vocals would become grating but that hasn't happened at all and it has in fact since re-peaked in my chart since the cut-off for this countdown came about. Should very much appear, possibly even higher, in next year's list.
January 3, 20169 yr Author 53. Selena Gomez (feat. A$AP Rocky) - Good For You DXKHCgNFk1I Total points: 245 Chart run: 27-3-4-12-14-12-23-17-24-29 Miss Selena Gomez has a rather hit and miss discography in my books but after the quite brilliant 'Come And Get It' I've definitely took more notice. Comeback track 'The Heart Wants What it Wants' was a nice song but didn't quite hit the right mark to chart but that was put right following the premier of 'Good For You'. This is an excellent, downtempo R&B number which shows a totally different side to the usual Selena and it works wonderfully. The very haunting production really adds to the effect and A$AP's rap, which I can give or take, at least fits in with the song as a whole. It shot to #3 in its second week and had a steady descent thereafter.
January 3, 20169 yr Author 52. George Ezra - Listen To The Man ZS0WvzRVByg Total points: 251 Chart run: 10-14-9-6-11-12-12-18-30-37 Next up a song which truly stands out among the majority of its nearby company. Of all the MOR male artists which have dominated the airwaves in the past decade or so, George Ezra has to rank among my favourites (or shall I switch that to least intolerable). What makes George Ezra different is he actually has a great voice, a deep, rich tone which is instantly recognisable. Budapest & Blame It On Me were both songs I did enjoy initially before overplay put pay to that, however Listen To The Man has blossomed into by far my favourite track of his to date. I love that melody and it suits his baritone vocals perfectly. The video was one of the funniest of 2014 too and it was a shame to see this keep being denied top 40 thanks to streaming week after week. It only narrowly misses the top 50 in this chart too. January 3, 20169 yr Author 51. The Prodigy - Rebel Radio 6_qMm9GgPCs Total points: 251 Chart run: 12-3-4-9-11-8-14-16 So my second favourite band of all time were FINALLY back in 2015 and my word did I have to be patient. 6 years since the sensational 'Invaders Must Die' era surpassed all expectations, I really hoped they would bring just as much last year. Whilst I can't admit the album was quite as good as its predecessor, it was still phenomenal and obviously, ranked as my #1 of last year. The week after its release a whole flurry of album tracks entered the scene and this was the highest performing of them all. This easily stood out to me after the singles and it was just more of what I was loving from them. Fast-paced, in-your-face aggression and a track so synonymous with their sound. They were one position out on having 4 songs in the top 50. And with that we are (belatedly) half way through! :cheer:
January 4, 20169 yr Bills was a song I loved for a bit but got bored on dramatically after a while. Good For You is absolutely amazing though. One of the songs that hasn't got boring for me at all this year.
January 4, 20169 yr Bills :yahoo: such fun lyrics and video, great that it's catchy too :music: Sweet Lovin  think I call this better than Easy Love now. Good for You is great and LTTM quite nice (especially the video :D )
January 4, 20169 yr Hi Dobbo Always sort of forget Listen to the Man even exists but I like the melody too as you mentioned, it's just a nice little ploddy ditty and it feels calm walking down the street or somewhere peaceful, I have to be in the mood for it though. I do prefer THWWIW unlike you but GFY really is fantastic too, R&B really suits her loads so I'm glad she's doing so well in the US at the moment. I hope she keeps it up for future eras and doesn't go back to stuff like Naturally even though it is a bit of a tune
January 5, 20169 yr Sigala, Seleana Gomez, The Progidy  George Ezra Slaying of course is my highlight, glad you liked it so much
January 6, 20169 yr Bills, Sweet Lovin' are both great. Good For You and Listen To The Man are good aswell.
January 7, 20169 yr I find "Bills" and "Five More Hours" to be completely underrated on this site. I have to second that as well, Cody. It definitely is.
January 9, 20169 yr Author Bills was a song I loved for a bit but got bored on dramatically after a while. Good For You is absolutely amazing though. One of the songs that hasn't got boring for me at all this year. Pretty much the same as me, really lost interest quite quickly in it but luckily I can enjoy it again now. Good For You did tire as well albeit not quite as quickly. Definitely a highlight of her career so far though. Bills :yahoo: such fun lyrics and video, great that it's catchy too :music: Sweet Lovin  think I call this better than Easy Love now. Good for You is great and LTTM quite nice (especially the video :D ) Yeah the vid is pretty funny and definitely suits the track. I'm the same it has eclipsed Easy Love now. Good to see you're a fan of the rest of the section :P Hi Dobbo Always sort of forget Listen to the Man even exists but I like the melody too as you mentioned, it's just a nice little ploddy ditty and it feels calm walking down the street or somewhere peaceful, I have to be in the mood for it though. I do prefer THWWIW unlike you but GFY really is fantastic too, R&B really suits her loads so I'm glad she's doing so well in the US at the moment. I hope she keeps it up for future eras and doesn't go back to stuff like Naturally even though it is a bit of a tune  Ah I instantly think of it when George Ezra is mentioned, that or Budapest (which I can enjoy again now it's not everywhere). I like Listen To The Man at anytime however! Yeh this R&B route is totally working for her but I would love another Come And Get It like bop somewhere down the line too. Never really got into Naturally nor any of her very first stuff actually... Sigala, Seleana Gomez, The Progidy  George Ezra Slaying of course is my highlight, glad you liked it so much  Thought you'd like that one ;) it really is a gem! Bills, Sweet Lovin' are both great. Good For You and Listen To The Man are good aswell. A more favourable section it seemed for you, might not be the case so much with the next batch! I find "Bills" and "Five More Hours" to be completely underrated on this site. Agreed, they both got too much hate also really. Good seeing another fan of the pair! I have to second that as well, Cody. It definitely is. I'll third it ;)
January 9, 20169 yr Author LOVE Listen To The Man, and Sweet Lovin'. Great chart so far. :D Thanks mdh glad you're liking it! Now back to the countdown.
January 9, 20169 yr Author 50. Remady & Manu-L (feat. Culcha Candela) - Together We Are One (Bring Back The Energy) zkeHr2xu6q0 Total points: 257 Chart run: 18-18-20-16-25-10-7-11-14-24-31 Extremely long title alert! Kicking off the top 50 we have a wonderfully crazy Eurodance track featuring Swiss pair Remedy & Manu-L and German reggae-dancehall group Culcha Candela. This was another track I find via means of a dance playlist and it certainly caught my attention from the very first listen. A high energy number, full of punch and typically hard-hitting production as you'd expect from a title as such, I really like the main singer Manu-L's parts and how they fit around the German vocals dispersed throughout. This has a reasonably steady run in the chart, capped off by a #7 peak in its seventh week.
