The Ciara album was surprisingly excellent, many fantastic songs and deserved to do way better officially!

Taylor's all time classic and self titled debut just misses the top 40 after getting a resurgence in January here. So many amazing country songs

Love the Home OST, especially the Charli XCX, RiRi, Jennifer and Kiesza tracks!

The Veronicas album was quite disappointing and not listened to much of it since release

A couple more all time classics in Back To Black & Mamma Mia; the former re-entered after the Amy documentary release and the latter was when I was in a Mamma Mia mood.

Fleur's album is pretty poor, it needs a ballad so badly :(

Lucie's album is great and the EP is still to come in the top 40 starting boxing day!

Great to see Nero, Sigma, Pharmacy :music: is that 1989 a Taylor Swift cover or something?

Ew the Into the Woods OST

I think I recognise the tree cover but I can't quite put my finger on it :hinking:

Never listened to the full Home soundtrack but it had some good tracks on it. Red Balloon was one of my favourites from Sucker and the new Rihanna tracks were good too, Dance in the Dark especially but I suppose TTS was good for a while. Loved JLos track for it too but always forget to play it now.

I do like Fleur East's album but it is disappointing material for how good SHE is. She puts in so much effort, excellent performances, she looks fantastic and has so much sass which makes her deliver almost anything with ease but the album is just so samey. I do quite like the tracks on their own but so boring if you have to listen to it in one go :/

That's 5/8th's of the whole Home soundtrack if I remember correctly!!

Agree with your comment on Fleur!

I was watching Home with my friend and it got him into Rihanna songs. I call that a win-win.

Thanks Cody

Home is premiering on Sky Movies next week in the UK and so excited to watch it again

35. Lucie Silvas- Lucie Silvas 334,630 4-8-5-8-9-10-10-10-8-X

36. Smoke + Mirrors- Imagine Dragons 329,510 2-5-9-9-10-X

38. I Cry When I Laugh- Jess Glynne 258,680 1-3-4-X

39. (6) Sheezus- Lily Allen 258,300 (1,596,540) ....-8-8-9-4-6-X

40. (11) Trouble In Paradise- La Roux 236,370 (1,034,860) ....-9-7-4-5-9-X

Haiz: Highlight: Love Myself. Hailee Steinfeld has definitely been one of the most promising stars of 2015 and this EP has hyped me up incredibly for her debut album. Rock Bottom is a fantastic track- even though it is a bit forgettable, and the other 3 will be in my top 200! The album has been a strong seller in my chart over the Christmas period despite missing the top 3.

Badlands: Highlight: Ghost. One of the album that is keep on yo-yo-ing up and down in my chart (along with Handwritten, Queen Of The Clouds + a couple of others) is Badlands by Halsey which I am loving at the moment. So many fantastic tracks, especially Ghost

Blood: Highlight: What You Don't Do. I had no intention of even listening to this album but I bought it in HMV and immediately loved it. It is the first of three number 1 albums in 2014 here!

Revival: Highlight: Good For You. Solid album, quite a few duds but quite a few good songs. I prefer Demi's album from the Disney stars but this is still good. Especially Good For You which I'm listening now and is by far the best thing she has ever done (along with Come And Get It).

Lucie Silvas: Highlight: How To Lose It All. Despite the album with all these tracks on being around #60, the EP makes the top 40 here due to a quiet February/March period allowing this to hang around and sell strongly! The EP also got a boost as I fell in love with What You're Made Of around the same time!

Smoke + Mirrors: Highlight: I Bet My Life. Oops I absolutely hate this album now, I Bet My Life is the only listenable thing on it and I've gone off that as well.

Light Up The Dark: Highlight: Light Up The Dark. This would be so much higher if it was released in any other month (EOY + Peak wise) but September was a bloodbath, especially the 18th! Really solid album even if her debut was better.

I Cry When I Laugh: Highlight: Hold My Hand. The short run was because of me going strongly off Jess for a couple of months, if it was released now it would have had a much better chart run as it is a great album full of many fantastic hits.

Sheezus: Highlight: Hard Out Here. The first of 2 2014 albums in this section is Queen Lily's return last year, which even though it doesn't hold a patch on It's Not Me It's You, it is still a fantastic album full of many amazing highs (Hard Out Here, As Long As I Got You, Somewhere Only We Know etc).

Trouble In Paradise: Highlight: Let Me Down Gently. Kicking off the top 40 is La Roux's 2nd album which passed the million milestone in my chart this year. Still a fantastic album; especially Let Me Down Gently

Many Lana, Lucie Silvas and Little Mix album tracks here! Most of the Lana ones missed the top 40 due to a massive market!

Back To Black re-entered due to the Amy documentary

Outta Here re-entered after yoghurt shop worker Esmee appeared on The Voice

Easy Love is my favourite here and if my chart wasn't based on sales, it would probably be just outside the top 100!

Enchanted/Wildest Dreams is a mash-up Taylor did on the 1989 tour of the 2 of my favourite Swift tracks, absolutely excellent  Definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

30. (2) A Perfect Contradiction- Paloma Faith 405,560 (3,798,210) ....-7-6-4-6-7-9-7-X-3-7-X

Storyteller: Highlight: Smoke Break. I love Storyteller and once again there are many fantastic tracks on the album! Carrie got a much needed boost in the album chart from her stunning X-Factor performance of Heartbeat and she still hasn't fallen out of my top 10!

Talking Dreams: Highlight: Cool Kids. Riding off the back of Cool Kids, the Echosmith album became a big hit in my chart at the start of the year and it took 6 weeks to reach its chart high of #3, fantastic for an act who had only had one quite big hit! I really like the album and it is full of lots of nice songs.

Confident: Highlight: Cool For The Summer. I love this album but the 2 singles are definitely the highlights! Father is beautiful, Yes/Stars are both great and I also really like Kingdom Come! It isn't anywhere near as great as Demi but it is still a great album.

Chapter One: Highlight: Ghost. Another 2014 album, this time it's Ella Henderson's debut which has done just south of 2,000,000 here! The album spent another couple of weeks at two (I think it spent 8 or 9 weeks at #2 due to 1989) in 2015 and held very solidly throughout the start of the year! The album still holds up great and is full of many fantastic and amazing songs

Pitch Perfect 2: Highlight: Flashlight. Gosh I love the Pitch Perfect movies!! The soundtrack to the 2nd movie is amazing and I listened to it all summer. So many fantastic renditions; one of my favourites being the Riff-Off. The only little negative is that their isn't any songs as good as Party In The USA/Just A Dream in this one apart from the wonderful Flashlight. I love both the Jasy J and Hailee versions, the former will appear very high here!

Every Open Eye: Highlight: Leave A Trace. This started very well but felt quickly as it started to get quite boring. I still like it but not as much as I did when released.

Get To Heaven: Highlight: Regret. I surprised myself at how much I enjoyed this album and Regret + Distant Past are definitely standouts for me, both fantastic and original tracks! The album had a solid chart-run and nearly re-entered my top 10 after I saw them live!

Delirium: Highlight: Something In The Way You Move (I'm not counting Love Me Like You Do). I'm not even going to bother denying it, this is such a disappointing album. It is still solid though and when it hits it's highs, the album soars! Something In The Way You Move is a pop gem that could easily fit onto 1989, Army is a nice ballad; albeit a bit slow and of course Love Me Like You Do is incredible and one of the best of the year.

Reflection: Highlight: Sledgehammer. This flopped on original release in my charts but made a comeback after I bought it in HMV and fell in love with it. This catapulted Reflection to the top spot and a good chart-run/sales. My highlight always changes on this album, it was Boss when released, Worth It around September and now it's Sledgehammer!

A Perfect Contradiction: Highlight: Only Love Can Hurt Like This. Another 2 2014 albums in this section, the first of them appearing from Paloma Faith who came 2nd last year despite competing against many big artists (however she's now 4th from 2014 as Taylor Swift & Lana Del Rey have overtaken unsurprisingly). I love this album and it was such a return to form for Paloma after Fall To Grace was quite underwhelming. So many songs I still go back to, especially OLCHLT and Ready For The Good Life

228. Everyday’s Like Christmas- Kylie Minogue 27,850 36-....

229. Pedestrian At Best- Courtney Barnett 27,590 36-34-X

230. Ghost- Halsey 27,140 39-....

Watch out for Ghost by Halsey & Freak by Lana Del Rey next year, both should become big hits in the first couple of months of next year! Halsey may even go top 10 in the next couple of weeks at this rate! Loving them both so much right now

Quite a few BJSC entries appearing in this section including the first Ultraviolenceland entry in the form of our semi final flop Thunderstorm by Blaise, which is the only UVLand entry to not qualify for the final since March. Entries also appear from Unovia in the form of the wonderful indie gem Pedestrian At Best, Daehun with the fantastic French pop Avenier and ProJ with Everything Everything's wonderful Distant Past. Everything Everything also have an entry just inside the top 200 starting tomorrow!

Some good songs in this sections! Prisoner is one of the highlights from The Weeknd album and features the magnificent Lana Del Rey, Lauren Platt nearly made the top 20 with her cover of How Will I Know after the X-Factor tour, Wolf Alice got a mini chart hit after Giant Peach in the form of Bros, Rehab also benefitted from the Amy documentary and Some Type Of Love hit my top 40 during my Charlie Puth obsession!

However there is some utter crap in this section which I'm glad missed the top 200. King actually made my hatechart top 50 and is unbearable now, Levels was good for one week before getting terrible as you can tell by the 14-out of top 40 drop, Bitch Better Have My Money bascially only charted as I was so excited for new RiRi then but now in December I couldn't even care when she released it anymore and expecting it to be a disaster, Bad Dream only charted as it was great to have Chloe back after the disappearance of Disappointed but Bad Dream is really poor and Hole In My Heart is also bad.

Last but not least we have a few Christmas songs that entered my chart in my personal chart today. Kylie's SAW remix of Everyday's Like Christmas is really fun, Little Mix's 4 Music cover of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is so fun and adorable and entered during my current obsession with Little Mix and Queen Idina Menzel sleighed our charts with Baby It's Cold Outside, the Queen only has 1 entry top 200 this year :o What could it be?

32. Badlands- Halsey 396,070 Surprisingly enjoyed considering it isn't really my music taste

34. Revival- Selena Gomez 336,290 1-3-5-7-8-X should listen to more of Selena's songs tbh, she's got some good ones out there!

36. Smoke + Mirrors- Imagine Dragons 329,510 2-5-9-9-10-X got to listen to this album but from their other album I didn't go much on apart from the singles, but Monster was great

38. I Cry When I Laugh- Jess Glynne 258,680 1-3-4-X :music: superb album

39. (6) Sheezus- Lily Allen 258,300 (1,596,540) ....-8-8-9-4-6-X damn I forgot this album existed  it might have reached my chart if I remembered  great album and showed me that I am a much bigger fan of her stuff than I thought! :o

Ultraviolence: Highlight: West Coast/Ultraviolence. Just missing out on a 2nd year in the top 10 by only 6,000 copies is Lana's 2nd album Ultraviolence! This really is turning into one of my favourite ever albums and it is really full of an amazing amount of gems that I go back to regularly. The album continued a very long run in my chart this year and grossed 3.7M in total! See more of my opinions on UV in my 2014 EOY thread

My Love Is Cool: Highlight: Giant Peach. Wolf Alice have definitely been one of my favourite breakout artists of the year and My Love Is Cool is an incredible album full of many rock gems. Giant Peach is definitely my favourite though! The album spent 3 weeks at the top spot at the start of July!

Piece By Piece: Highlight: Heartbeat Song. I do really like this album but it probably doesn't deserve to be as high as 13! The album fell heavily in its 2nd week but recovered quickly and spent over 10 weeks top 10 while selling nearly 800k.

Queen Of The Clouds: Highlight: Moments. Despite most people falling in love with Tove last year, I found her overrated but as 2015 comes to a close, I have completely fallen in love with her! Queen Of The Clouds is incredible and has so many fantastic tracks; especially Moments + Talking Body

Feline: Highlight: We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off/Comeback. Gosh Feline deserved to be absolutely massive :( It is such a fun album full of dance and pop gems along with beautiful ballads. There are so many highlights: every single, the afromentioned We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off, Even If, Two, Always and so on! Amazing album!

E.MO.TION: Highlight: I Really Like You. Carly returned this year with possibly the most underrated album by chart success :( This so deserved to be a #1 in my chart but going against 2nd week Lana meant it was just a pipe dream here! Every track is incredible and the 2 singles are easily 2 of the best of the year  This album provides all joyous emotions in a year when anything related to Emotions was incredible (see Inside Out, emoticons, emoji pillows)

Handwritten: Highlight: Stitches. The only solo male artist in the top 20 :o Shawn's album finally hit #1 in my chart after about 10 years (omg I wrote 10 years but I actually mean 6 months!!) after Stitches started to finally become a hit in the UK. The album is great and full of really nice ballads though I would have preferred a couple more uptempos!

Kylie Christmas: Highlight: Everyday's Like Christmas. Kylie spread fun and joy around this Christmas season with her collection of covers and a couple of originals. Only You is beautiful, she's done most of the classics fantastically and Everyday's Like Christmas is so fun, especially the SAW remix which is incredible *.* The album spent a week at #2 and 5 weeks at #3 behind the juggernauts of Adele and Little Mix

Rebel Heart: Highlight: Living For Love. Queen Madonna storms into my top 20 with another fantastic album in the form of Rebel Heart. I'm not even going to hide it, Living For Love is actually one of my favourite Madonna tracks, adore it so much and it really is a fantastic track  The rest of the album is also incredible from Devil's Pray to the fantastic Ghosttown and I can't believe this wasn't an official UK #1 :( Yeah there might be some bad lows (including the ear-hutting Bitch I'm Madonna) but there is so much good that makes up for it and makes Rebel Heart great!

Beneath The Skin: Highlight: Crystals. The underrated Of Monsters And Men returned with their 2nd album which had many beautiful and nice songs and was a big hit in my album chart by peaking at #3 and spending many weeks top 10! I love this album and still listen to it often!
