21. Black Magic- Little Mix 973,910 1-2-4-5-12-11-17-17-17-23-22-24-22-26-28-31-17-31-40-X 19 Weeks

The last section of nearly million sellers until we start going 1 by 1 (which means nearly time for predictions which I would love you all to do ). Well anyway 2 of these will probably be million sellers by tomorrow (Runnin and Black Magic)

So let's start with the song that just missed the top 20 EOY which is Little Mix's pop magic jam Black Magic. I've always liked Little Mix but I've been converted to full on LM stan this era *.* Black Magic is just pure fun pop which is why it is one of the best songs of the year. The girls vocals are incredible, the video is incredible and the production is so good *.* I am so happy this was a gigantic hit for Little Mix and set them off for by far their biggest era yet as they have become so so amazing! Black Magic spent a week at the top and only 4 weeks top 10 due to the incredibly busy market but held on great throughout the rest of the campaign for this era and spent 19 weeks top 40! The song rebounded to #17 a few weeks ago after the girls performed an amazing mash-up of Love Me Like You and Black Magic on X-Factor. Such a fantastic pop track!

Runnin was possibly the biggest surprise of the year for me, Naughty Boy is usual crap and Beyonce hadn't made a good song for about 4 years. But oh gosh this was amazing  This is the best Beyonce has sounded since the Sasha Fierce era and Naughty Boy's production is fantastic. Arrow Benjamin's vocals are also great and this is easily one of my favourites this year! The vocals and production work so well together and the bit before the chorus and the chorus are incredible. I just wish the song was a tiny bit longer. The song held Demi Lovato off at the top and spent 7 weeks top 10 with an excellent chart-run and is still top 40 after 14 weeks, 13 of them in the top 20! I love Runnin so much

Meghan Trainor's up next with her Olly Murs cover and utter fun bop of a track with Dear Future Husband. I first heard the song in like October 2014 and immediately fell in love with it so I was really excited for it to be released as the next single. It was eventually delayed so I could only finally buy it in January where it charted and peaked at #2 here. Despite falling quite fast at first, Meghan held on really well and even went top 10 for a few weeks later on in DFH's chart-run which lasted 24 weeks! The video gave it a boost and I love how fun and great the song is!

And the last song to miss the million sales mark is movie star Hailee Steinfeld's pop debut with Love Myself which is a fantastic pop song that deserved to smash! The production and Hailee's vocals are so good and the chorus is a sing-a-long bonafide pop smash! The song spent 8 weeks top 10 and peaked at #2 in its second week as well as spending 5 weeks top 5! The song held on fantastically and was a gigantic chart hit for an amazing pop track. Hailee's EP is so good as well and can't wait to see what else she brings in 2016!

So now we're at the million sellers it's time to go 1 by 1. From French Hits to song I really really really x2 Like to 800 Swifty Songs to Movie Classics to Underrated Gems to Songs From Adverts, I hope you enjoy my top 17  I will put up the predictions post in a few minutes for singles and albums and it would be amazing if you could predict

17. What If- Kate Winslet 1,026,860

1-2-2-5-7-6-9-10-16-23-24-28-27-27-30-32-33-34-38-39-40-38-39-X[x26]-44-39-23-.... 25 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/KateWinslet-WhatIf.png

Let's start our million sellers for 2015 and first up is a song from 2001! What is even better about What If becoming a million seller, it took exactly 52 weeks to reach the mark by charting on the 1st week of the year and passing the million sales mark on the last week of the year! Also with Kate Winslet 17th and Hailee Steinfeld 18th, we have the 2 movie actresses back to back *.* Kate Winslet's beautiful ballad from What If is from the movie A Christmas Carol and I never knew it existed until last year when I got the NOW that's what I call Movies album and fell in love with What If immediately when I listened to the album. I loved What If so much that it debuted at the top of my charts on the first week in January and held on fantastically with 8 weeks top 10 and just under half a year in my top 40! What If really is such a beautiful song and I'd definitely recommend to give it a listen if you haven't heard it before  What If is only 1.5k away from 16th place which is quite a bit of a shocker judging by the predictions!

16. Run Away With Me- Carly Rae Jepsen 1,028,140

1-3-3-7-9-16-13-12-11-12-11-16-16-21-22-24-36-39-37-38-X 20 Weeks

Next up and just missing the top 15 is the critically praised but sadly massive chart flop Run Away With Me. This song just gets better and better on every single listen and is easily one of the best things Carly has done, as well as being one of her 2 million sellers this year! Run Away With Me is a song that just oozes joy at every second with fantastic verses and a euphoric and one of the best choruses of the year that you can't not sing-a-long too! RAWM really is spellbindigly perfect and on of those songs I will not forget released in 2015! Carly knocked Little Mix off the top spot in July 2015 for a week and spent 5 weeks top 10 and 20 weeks top 40 with this amazing song including 4 weeks at either #11 or #12. This really deserved to be a gigantic chart hit :(

15. Wings- Birdy 1,097,550

37-1-2-5-5-6-11-10-15-11-13-14-10-14-17-15-20-25-26-30-32-39-X 22 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Birdy%20-%20Wings.png

And next up is 2013 song that finally got to be the massive chart hit it deserved to be in 2015 in the form of Wings by Birdy after the cute Lloyds advert that I barely ever saw with the Horse gave Wings a massive boost. However that version was the nice acoustic version though that lacks the punch of the original version which is the version that appears here. The song sold just shy of 1,100,000 and had a fantastic chart-run which included rebounding in and out of the top 10 multiple times and spent 22 weeks top 40. As I said in the commentary for Delta's Wings, 2 songs went 37-1 with the same name and the other one was of course Birdy's Wings. The song zoomed to #1 as I fell completely in love with it and the track spent 7 weeks top 10 non-consecutively and also spent 2 weeks at 11! I was so happy when this became the massive hit it deserved and I am so excited for her new single tomorrow

14. (140) Lips Are Movin- Meghan Trainor 1,211,130 (1,294,250)

....-37-20-18-1-1-2-6-8-10-12-14-15-19-20-20-27-27-32-32-34-37-37-35-39-34-X 25 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/MeghanTrainor-LipsAreMovin.png

Into 14th place now and we see the last entry from the always great Meghan Trainor in the form of January hit single and #1 Lips Are Movin! I always forget Lips Are Movin was released this year as I always consider it a 2014 track. The song sold about 100k from streaming and jumped straight to #1 for 2 weeks on release; the 2nd of those weeks Meghan had both of the top 2 singles (with Dear Future Husband) and the number 1 album! The track spent another 4 weeks top 10 and 25 weeks top 40 including streaming weeks in 2015. I love this song as it is fun bubblegum pop that's a bop. Meghan's vocals are good, I love the production of the song (especially the 2nd chorus) and I like the lyrics. Another great track from Meghan in what has been a fantastic 2015 for her!

13. (2) Shake It Off- Taylor Swift 1,263,410 (5,889,850)

Chart Run 2014: 1-1-1-2-1-1-3-3-1-1-3-2-3-4-3-2-5-4-2

Chart Run 2015: ....-3-5-8-7-10-7-10-12-14-21-20-22-24-23-25-20-20-23-21-23-23-22-22-25-10-20-25-25-26-28-30-26-33-31-29-29-30-37-37-39-X 40 Weeks In 2015, 59 Weeks in Total

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/TaylorSwift-ShakeItOff.png

My most played track of 2015 nearly spends another year top 10 in the End Of Year charts :o Queen Taylor Swift's possibly best song ever and absolute monster of a pop tune Shake It Off holds fantastically by having a total of just under the 5.9M mark and only falling 11 places from last years massive sales! This epic track peaked at #3 in 2015 and spent 7 weeks top 10 and a gigantic 40 weeks in the top 40, most of it between #20-#25 as you can see by that chart-run! I still play the song all the time as it is one of my favourite songs ever and is a party tune that is always so fun to hear, sing and dance to because it really is one of the best songs of all time  Still loving Shake It Off and can it make it 3 years next year?

12. Je Te Suivrai- Kinnie Lane 1,266,700

4-1-4-2-7-12-17-12-14-14-11-13-14-17-17-20-24-27-17-22-26-22-28-32-27-32-38-37-40-40-36-34-X 32 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Kinnie%20Lane%20-%20Je%20te%20suivrai.png

French pop usually isn't my thing unless it is done excellently. And if I'm honest, I think Je Te Suivrai may be my favourite foreign language song of all time now. I stumbled across this beauty when looking for entries to send to BJSC and fell in love with it immediately. This became our first entry to qualify and not finish last in the final, even if it did disappoint a bit in 25th after being 3rd like half way through the votes :( (though it seems every single Ultraviolenceland entry apart from Sammi Sanchez has had a frontloaded start!) Despite basically not understanding a word of it, Je Te Suivrai is such a fabulous track which I still listen to regularly and it was my most streamed track of 2014 by quite a lot of plays which speaks levels for how much I adore it! The song also hung around forever in my chart despite the usual BJSC entry only spending about 5 weeks maximum top 40! Je Te Suivrai debued at #4 before climbing to its peak and solitary week at #1 and spent 5 weeks top 10 in total! However the song refused to go anywhere and stayed around my top 20 and 40 for ages and didn't drop out until 32 weeks into its run! Je Te Suivrai really is an incredible song and one of my favourite discoveries this year

11. Flashlight- Jessie J 1,337,980

47-3-4-2-2-2-5-3-3-6-7-10-18-17-23-26-23-33-39-33-36-35-38-40-XX 23 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Jessie%20J%20-%20Flashlight.png

And the last song to miss the top 10 is a track that would be a few places higher if this wasn't based on sales. At least Flashlight missed the top 10 by quite a bit (200k sales) compared to some really tiny gap! Flashlight is from the incredible movie Pitch Perfect 2 which was a bunch of fun and Flashlight is a beautiful ballad performed in the film by Hailee Steinfeld who appeared a few places ago with a different song and Queen Jasy J's version appears towards the end of the movie. And this really is the most underrated track of 2015, I do think it would be so so much more loved if it wasn't by Jessie J. Jessie's vocals are incredible on this and it is such a beautiful track. The song originally flopped here surprisingly in #47 but jumped a massive 44 places to #3 in its 2nd week! The song went top 10 for 11 weeks which included 3 weeks at its peak of #2 as it failed to overcome Taylor's Squad despite massive sales. The song spent 6 weeks top 3 and 23 week top 10 as it continued to held incredibly well for a movie song! I adore Flashlight and it is definitely one of my favourites of the year

10. Hello- Adele 1,534,260

1-1-3-3-3-5-6-3-7-.... 9 Weeks So Far

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Adele%20-%20Hello.png

She finally returned. After about 950 years away Adele returned. And what a perfect comeback song this was. From that cryptic surprise half a minute advert on X-Factor, my excitement was pumped for Adele's return and what a song this was! I could not take Hello off repeat from the moment I heard it, such a beautiful song with lovely lyrics and Adele's vocals being as perfect as ever, especially on those powerful choruses which are easily a couple of the best of the entire year! This sees Adele zoom into the top 10 of my End Of Year chart despite only being out for 2 months, the 2nd most recent song in my top 10! Adele spent 2 weeks at #1 and still hasn't fallen out of the top 10; as well as spending 4 weeks at #3. Adele is still slaying everything and everyone and Hello is amazing

Next is a track from a movie! Any guesses?

10. Drones- Muse 916,730

Chart Run: 1-1-3-3-4-5-8-10-10-X

Highlights: Psycho, Mercy, Reapers, Dead Inside, Revolt, Defector

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Muse%20-%20Drones.png

Starting the top 10 albums of the year is Muse's fantastic Drones! I really like The 2nd Law but there was something missing which seems to be back on this album. Drones is a fantastic rock album full of many anthems and I was incredibly hyped for this album ever since I heard the absolutely genius lead instant grat Psycho which is one of my favourite Muse songs of all time. The rest of the album is also great, especially Mercy and Reapers and I am so excited to see the Drones tour in 2016 as it should be amazing and incredible

9. (118) Taylor Swift- Style 1,672,000 (1,815,540)

....-12-7-3-3-5-5-2-3-4-10-10-8-8-8-11-15-15-17-15-9-10-11-8-12-6-16-23-27-30-37-X 30 Weeks In 2015

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/TaylorSwift-Style.png

The movie song that was next wasn't Love Me Like You Do :o It was actually Style by Taylor Swift which was heavily used at the start of San Andreas supposedly (I've not seen the movie but about 5 of my friends who saw it on opening week texted me Style was in the film!). And when Style is sounding great, it is actually the best on 1989 :o I have grown to appreciate and love and adore this song so much, the lyrics are incredible (especially the chorus), the song and production are incredible (especially the chorus), the chorus is incredible and Taylor's vocals are amazing. The video is quite disappointing but nevertheless the song is still perfect. It is usually the Taylor song I start with at the moment when I do my Taylor listenings and it really gets better on each listen. It is the only track in my top 10 to not be a #1 in my chart but the track has an astronimcal 109 place climb from last years finish and only spent 17 weeks in the top 10! The song kept re-entering in my top 10 which led to 4 different spells and the song peaked at #2 behind number #8 in my EOY (who is it?!) and went to every other position in the top 10 apart from #1 and #9 including 3 weeks at 3 and 4 weeks at 8!

9. I Am- Leona Lewis 932,340

Chart Run: 1-3-4-3-5-7-8-5-9-X

Highlights: I Got You, Fire Under My Feet, Thunder, You Knew Me When, Power, I Am, Another Love Song

http://i63.tinypic.com/2hnur7a.png

Leona's I Am was definitely one of the biggest surprise album wise. The songs released weren't amazing and Leona hasn't been amazing for a while apart from the odd single. But the album works and flows so well *.* From the joys of I Got You (they should have thought of another title though!) and Another Love Song to the beautiful slower moments such as You Knew Me When to power ballads kind of like Thunder and Power, the album has many fantastic songs and even though it is a bit filler, the album is excellent! A great improvement for Leona and it is a shame the album didn't do better. The album spent 9 weeks in my top 10 including a peak of #1!

Hi UV!

We're in the top 10 already, whaaaat?

I do love Style but it is one of her weakest for me, just less catchy than the rest. Your run is insane thuogh! Think Bad Blood and Blank Space are her best runs on mine but Style is the longest!

We're the only two people I've seen chart Flashlight in their EOY, I love her as an artist anyway and her voice is stunning so I was a bit gutted when she reigned it in but it really grew on me into a lovely little tune.

Lips are Movin is one of my absolute favourites, jsut so much fun, so much catchiness, so bright. One fabulous pop package, I love her sound too and she has a really endearing personality for a popstar. hope she sticks around for quite a while still. DFH is her second best for me so glad to see it behind the better track - both are jam pakced with so much fun though.

I love Black Magic too, talking about catchy pop with excellent videos this is one of the best examples of that. So much fun and personality too, glad we've got to see more of the girls this era :D <3

Lovely stuff, UV! Sorry for not commenting in a bit :(

8. Ellie Goulding- Love Me Like You Do 1,751,760

1-1-1-2-1-4-5-12-14-14-14-11-18-18-19-20-18-17-23-26-23-16-16-12-21-23-25-29-32-35-40-X 31 Weeks

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/EllieGoulding-LoveMeLikeYouDo.png

And in a year full of massive movie songs, the biggest selling one goes to Ellie who is just over 5k behind #7! I completely adored Love Me Like You Do from the 1st time I heard it in early January, this is easily the best Ellie has sounded vocally on a track and the song is a stunning power ballad. The verses are really nice but when it gets to that 2nd chorus and explodes, just *.* Incredible. Possibly my favourite chorus of the year! This songs portrays so many emotions and I am so happy how big of a hit it was officially as it is an amazing track. This spent 4 non-consecutive weeks at number #1 here and another 3 in the top 10. Despite falling fast out of the top 10, the song started to hold on fantastically and would refuse to leave the top 20 for many weeks, and when it finally did, Ellie returned 3 weeks later! The song spent 31 weeks top 40 and sold an excellent 1.751M copies. I still listen to this often and it is such a fantastic track

8. Froot- Marina & The Diamonds 1,004,270

Chart Run: 5-3-1-1-1-1-1-3-5-4-4-7-9-8-X

Highlights: Blue, I'm A Ruin, Forget, Froot, Happy, Gold, Savages

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/MarinaandtheDiamonds-Froot.png

I had little intention to listen to Froot but Joe bought it for me and I fell in love with the album immediately! Marina's vocals on this album are incredible and lead to very fun album with many big highlights. Blue is one big euphoric piece of fun, I'm A Ruin is one of the most beautiful ballads released this year, Froot and Happy are both strong and Forget is really fun and also quite underrated. Their are so many songs I still go back to from this album and it is the first of 8 million selling albums in my chart this year! The album debuted at #5 before climbing to a peak of #1 two weeks later where it spent a massive 5 consecutive weeks at #1, fantastic for any album! The album spent 14 weeks top 10 and I still love it!

7. Fleur East- Sax 1,757,920

1-1-1-1-3-7-8-.... 7 Weeks So Far

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Fleur%20East%20-%20Sax.png

Fleur's position of #7 is the same as the amount of weeks she has been in the chart :o Even Blank Space could only get to #9 last year with a similar chart-run and amount of weeks! Sax shifted massive numbers when it was at the top of the charts and is really one of the best songs of the year. Fleur's voice is fantastic and her performances are amazing, especially the X-Factor one which is one of my favourite performances ever! Sax sounded incredible from the snippets and when it premiered in full, gosh it did not disappoint! Th use of the instruments such as the saxophone are amazing on this track and it just makes you want to get up and dance and sing! The song is so fun, the sax breakdown and the chorus bit before that are my favourite parts *.* The song went straight in at #1 where it held for 4 weeks, and even though it has been low top 10 the last couple of weeks, that's more due to Christmas songs as is set to return to the top 5 this week, very likely top 3! I still adore Sax and still play it all the time

7. How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful- Florence + The Machine 1,207,670

Chart Run: 1-2-2-4-4-2-3-1-1-3-5-5-8-X

Highlights: What Kind Of Man, Delilah, White Witch, Ship To Wreck, Queen Of Peace

http://i62.tinypic.com/9rsmiw.png

I like this album but it should be nowhere near as high as #7. What Kind Of Man remains as epic as ever but I don't really go back to anything else on the album, I've just kind have gone a bit off Florence altogether over the 2nd half of the year :( Well the album is still solid and spent 15 weeks top 10 including 3 weeks at #1 and 3 weeks at #2!

Hi UV again

Lovely to see HBHBHB, shame to hear that you've gone off her. For me this is a massive step up from Ceremonials and I love the more mature sound we hear on stuff like St Jude/HBHBHB, we wouldn't have heard anything like that on the previous two albums.

Sax is really growing on me at the moment but would never have expected it to be as high as 7 on anybody's EOY! You must really love it. I love how fierce it is but it is just so novelty and I'm already annoyed by the sax hook because of it being one every advert. The video is a monstrosity too, never seen anything so cheap done by an actual professional musician  I prefer Breakfast so hope that's a single down the line.
