It definitely wasn't a good single choice (especially in hindsight) but a great song it is, with a strong piano riff in the buildup and drop as well as the usual Avicii-esque influences. It really could have used a better vocalist though but Ebert at least isn't offputting. Also I really recommend the which is probably just as good as the original.

December 31, 20159 yr Hi DAn Sort of forgot about Heroes even existing, I didn't like it at first but that drop really is euphoric and grew on me loads. Could've done with some more interesting vocals though imo. I could've done with a good banger for Rihanna's comeback too but I wasn't disappointed at all with FFS. It's a really lovely track and a chance for her to show off what she can do without all the production. Kanye did ruin it a little for me though, a solo version would've been even better! The Giver was a really fantastic tune, it made me really sad to see him go from back to back #1s to low chart positions with even better tracks imo - this is pure joy whereas I found I Got U a bit lifeless even though I did like it!

Noonie Bao) 38-40-x Commentary The Avicii songs just keep coming, with 'City Lights' being the third-highest Avicii hit in the countdown - very impressive but moreso when you account that the song is only an album track!! Instantly a highlight of the non-singles upon album release, it entered in the top 5 and eventually knocked 'Broken Arrows' off #1 to claim the top spot for one week. It really sounds like a classic Avicii song anyway, with the amazing progressive house feel without any of the experimentation or crossover with other genres (don't get me wrong I love it when Avicii does that but I really like these types of songs so I'm glad he hasn't completely given up on those either). The song length is 6:30 minutes but it doesn't feel very long at all which is a great sign of a great song.
