Absolutely gutted to reveal that #Beautiful is the next song eliminated from the survivor :( The song, a duet with Miguel, was Mariah's biggest worldwide hit since Touch My Body 5 years before, only peaking at #22 in the UK but having very good top 40 longevity. In the US, it peaked at #15, her first top 100 hit since Oh Santa! and her first top 20 hit since Obsessed. It's a fantastic song and Mariah at her very best for me, I'd rank it as my 2nd fave Mariah song :wub:

Adore 'Beautiful', easily Mariah's best of recent years. I wish she would do more in this style as it really works for her.

This is what I voted for. The video is great but the song pales in comparison to the rest of the list.

How '#Beautiful' hasn't made the top 10, I DON'T KNOW :drama:

I figured "#Beautiful" would have been out sooner or later. IMO There were a lot of other Elusive Chanteuse songs that would have builded up to the same success as that but she left the album on the shelf for too long.

I went for "Without You", I like it but the overplay has killed it a little bit for me. I almost went for "Anytime You Need a Friend", so I'm pleased to see that's on the way out.

I actually had a Mariah session this week, and Beautiful still really stands out. It's easily top 10 for me and probably even top 5. I think there's a good reason it's her only hit in recent years.

I listen to a lot of Mariah these days and I'd still quite easily rank #Beautiful as my second favourite. One of the defining songs of summer 2013 for me, love it :heart:
