After the way they all went on about it with 'I don't feel safe', you would've thought Tiffany had punched someone in the face.

The fact that most of them ignored Tiffany and Angie took her apology when she was the one who was grieving and accepted it says something.

Edited by Alex!

Exactly, and I think it makes the John-led witch hunt look even more spiteful and unnecessary. John is obviously playing the game beginning with that selflessness on the first night with The Box and going in it himself. And then today, he knew that he could come out of that situation looking like a "hero" if he'd manage to get rid of Tiffany who they are so scared to be around, but now Angie has showed such graciousness to Tiffany's apology, he comes out of it looking the worst for me.

And I don't mind people playing the game, but I don't like pretend peacemakers like John.

Haha same here my girlfriend was in stitches to be fair. It was a misunderstanding I don't know where they got the I don't feel safe in the house comments from?!

Omg he did not say that about Tiffany?! :/ Missed that too, was watching with my mum and we were ranting about various things.

Can they never cast a BOTS darling who isn't a twat, Nadia and now John :drama:

Exactly! However out of line Tiffany was, and she was out of line for going OTT and out of control like that, it says a lot more about those who ignored her still when all was said and done. I can just about understand the chaos that happened in the thick of it all, but hours later when Tiffany had apologised to Angie I don't see how and why the others can be so immature. At the end of the day it's Angie's loss, she's the only one who had a right to be offended like that. The worst Tiffany did towards the likes of John and Kristina were be a bit loud in their presence, it's to do with her and Angie.

C5 once again like Liam said putting drama and some controversy behind the well-being of the housemates. Tiffany shouldn't have laughed at all about Davids' death. This shouldn't have gone that far. Goodness knows what that is going to Angie. Surely John should have told the house immediately when the situation escalated. This again wouldn't be the last time we've heard about this at all and Ofcom may get involved. Sorry I tried with this series but after tonight that is not my way of entertainment in reality TV.
Michelle summing it up perfectly on Bit on the Side, and I'm glad she called out John for taking a lead in trying to force Tiffany to walk.
I'm pleased Tiffany apologised, and it seemed sincere.

John is doing my head in though, rallying the troops around against her. He didn't have the balls to say anything to Winston when he said something MUCH worse. What a pussy.

100% agree.

Tiffany came across really badly but her apology did seem sincere at the end.

John and Kristina were awful. John especially since he couldn't stand up to Winston over his much more horrific comments. Also, did something else happen? I couldn't understand why they were saying 'we don't feel safe with her anymore?' An overreaction to a mistake doesn't make them in danger?

The only people who came across well today were Angie and Gemma.

I'm agreeing mostly with this last page but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find the whole thing funny. I know it was meant to be serious but it just went from one thing to another and I couldn't help but laugh. It'd take a completely blind loon to defend Tiffany wholly, of course, the initial confusion was completely understandable (even Darren thought it'd be David Gest) but her refusal to apologise did really disappoint me. Sure, she did it in the end and I did feel a sense that it was genuine, but it really should've come around a lot quicker. Has it dented my opinion of Tiffany? Yes. Majorly? No.

I have to echo the confusion at the bizarre reactions of "not feeling safe" though. Why? She was quite self-centered but there was nothing remotely threatening about her behaviour at all. And once ring leader John jumped on board, it escalated into more and more odd behaviour as the whole thing continued. I can't stand John, and his way of trying to be holier than thou. People like Christopher had the right response to it, he wasn't approving, but he didn't feel the need to jump up and stick his two cents in like he was the boss of it all, every 2 seconds.

I don't think the chicken comment was racist though, to his defence, out of context it looks it, but I'd imagine there's probably something normal to it, like she actually DOES eat chicken. He's a bit controlling but I don't get a vibe from him that he'd make a flippant racist comment like that.

Gemma wanting her heels back though >>>>. WINNER.

I also feel confused about the whole thing, it would appear that Tiffany must have said or done something that wasn't shown. Watching it back, there is an edit cut of Tiffany in the garden being consolled by the other housemates after finding out it wasn't in fact David Guest who had died and the first thing that is shown is Danniella walking away from her whilst saying that it is "disgusting to talk about anyone like that" and that she can "no longer talk to her" due to the comment that had just been said. I wonder why we weren't shown it.

First episode of the series I've watched tonight...

I can only agree with what's been said this last page or so, too! I'm surprised Tiffany apologised (and it actually coming off sincere too) at all tbh  Yeah it was several hours late, but at least it was a proper apology (as well as apologising to Angie for her loss - which was really sweet) and not just some "Yeah. Sorry about that." I felt quite bad for her when she was making her way to Angie and she was apologising to everyone else on the way and all of them literally ignored and blanked her? WTF was that? And the whole dishes/tea thing, well she tried.

Gemma's such a brilliant mentor and I think her and Tiff will do great together. Love her whole thing about "making someone tea is like giving someone a grand" and Tiffany's reaction was priceless.

John is EXACTLY how I imagined him to be. As well as Daniella and Kristina tbh. Surely Kristina can't be allowed in there under the circumstances she's in? BB is known for being bad for stress and stuff :\

I thought that, but I think if something that bad happened, I can't imagine C5 wouldn't show it

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said already, so I won't bother.

But did anyone catch Heroes and Villains last night? Top 20 CBB housemates with their titles.

Pretty mediocre list... didn't really deserve a special unless you're going to include civilian housemates. They could have just written an article nobody would read. What was with John as a commentator too :vom:

The more I watch Tiffany's OTT reaction to David Gest potentially dying, the more I find it impossible to take the rest of the show seriously. Maybe I should take it all more seriously, but it's too funny.
The reason Tiffany may have reacted the way she did is because she had a miscarriage before the show so death is probably a touchy subject for her.

What a bizarre episode. Although this is when the show is at its best, when everything is natural.

I can't really add anything to the general consensus of what's already been said but I will add that I thought Gemma at the end was handling the situation perfectly and I have a lot of respect for her for that. I've always had a mixed feeling about her, mostly negative but I've been impressed with most of what I've seen of her in the house.

At least all the drama meant that we didn't have the showmances in this episode, aside from the last few moments.

What did I just watch  I don't know whether to cry or laugh or scream. I think i've just done all three.

Tiffany was totally in the wrong there, I cannot see any palpable reason to blame this on Angie. She is a grieving woman, people say things in the heat of the moment LET ALONE when you're just told your child's father has passed away. It would've been ok if once realising the mistake she backed down and apologised. But laughing about it, calling Angie an "old bitch", being aggressive towards her. That is sickening by any degree of the imagination.

I can't believe i'm saying this, but she is still one of my favourite housemates in there, but her behaviour last night is totally, totally unacceptable imo.

Angie really should have said 'David Bowie'

And what about everything Tiffany SHOULDN'T have said????? A bit of perspective please.

(I haven't finished the episode yet, but very happy to see from comments in here that she does apologise! Left it far too late though..)

To be fair, watching it back, no one really gave her the opportunity to apologise. They just kept pushing her away from Angie.

And again, she is herself still grieving from a miscarriage which happened pretty soon prior to her appearance on CBB. I'm not making excuses and I agree she should have treated her with more respect, but it gives a bit of clarity on the situation.

Watching on ~ John was really out of line too there.

Maloney shooting up in my estimations for trying to be peace keeper. He's been very pleasant in the house and I hope perceptions of him before the show don't impact too much.

Now that she has apologised, I really respect Angie for accepting it and hopefully this entire situation can be moved on from because it was very difficult to watch and Big Brother REALLY should've intervened sooner rather than willing on more drama from such a delicate situation.

Also Gemma
