:puke2: #8: Beyoncé - 7/11

Chart run: 36-40-48-48-60-47-33-34-39-44-44-50-55-67-73-90-x-100-93

In eighth place we have Beyoncé with the hideous 7/11. What is there to hate about it? First, its title is a reference to the July 11 Mumbai train bombings which killed 209 people. Although, XO referenced the Challenger disaster and was still good. 7/11, however, is awful, and by far the worst Beyoncé has put her name to. Until Runnin' (Lose It All) came around, this was a classic example of how the mighty have fallen. Honestly Beyoncé, you've made Halo and If I Were A Boy. You can do much better than this.

Hi Taylor

Aw, I love Hotline Bling, think it's really catchy and fun to sing along too. I love the silly video too, one of my favourite of the year.

I agree with you on In2, at first I actually thought it was decent but it just got so annoying really quickly and already I hate hearing it, shame to see it sticking around quite well in the charts :/

I'm a big fan of Fetty Wap, I actually prefer 679, it's even more catchy than his others and the Remy Boyz parts are a lot of fun too, I just like to jam to it.

I agree on the borefest that is FourFiveSeconds  although the Him Remix is great

WickedSkengMan4 is just ok for me and Lambourghini is funny but not what I call a tune. I wasn't keen on 7/11 but I'm not a big Beyonce fan tbf.

:puke2: #7: Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo - Rhymes

Chart Run: 13-30-68

And the worst new entry of that week is without a doubt the atrocious Rhymes. An unexplicably popular track, thankfully this crashed down the chart, but it still earns a place in the ten worst songs of 2015.

For new entries that week in the top 20, three out of four are in this countdown. Thankfully the week had the saving grace of Say Something.

I had the same feeling, only that was at the start of the song where I thought it might be good, but by the end my mind was made up.

And I expected something great from RiRi aswell. :(

Thanks for commenting!

Actually agree on practically every song since my last comment and all are in my hate chart as well (bar one)

Trap Queen is probably the worst of those, so unbearable :puke2:

I don't mind FourFiveSeconds but it is so poor and below par for RiRi :(

:puke2: #6: Fifth Harmony feat. Kid Ink - Worth It

Chart Run: 81-51-3-10-14-22-27-34-33-38-39-47-55-61-62-70-77-86-97

The final song to peak at three, or to go top 5, is the dreadful Worth It by Fifth Harmony and Kid Ink. A song inexplicably loved around here, there was the assumption it would make the top 2, until Shine by Years & Years, a great song which holds more quality in its first nanosecond than the entirety of this, stopped this horror from making it to #2. Thankfully it then fall quite fast, and it was only played in full in the chart four times. This song is horrid, the five of them all come across as extremely arrogant in it, and I fail to see how it can possibly be empowering. While nothing by Fifth Harmony prior to this had ever impressed me, until this I was willing to give them a chance. Worth It, however, is unredeemable.

:puke2: #5: Krept & Konan feat. Jeremih - Freak Of The Week

Chart Run: 9-9-15-15-18-22-25-30-32-41-46-44-47-51-55-57-53-59-66-68-100

Here we have Krept & Konan with the abysmal Freak of the Week, which features Jeremih. The latter had collaborated on the quite good Somebody with Natalie La Rose (who didn't follow that up with anything tolerable either). A week after this came out they released The Long Way Home, which was narrowly beaten to number one by Ed Sheeran, who amusingly featured on that album on the quite good song Dreams (see, they're actually capable of making a good track). Still, despite this horror, I kinda wish they'd made it to number one on the album chart, if only for their chart run and so Faithless 2.0. wouldn't go down in history as the biggest fluke number one album ever.

I like all three of those also :kink: although I'm not massive on any of them. It must be the repetition in Rhymes that makes you hate it (I think it samples Technology by Daft Punk? I guess you don't like that either if my assumption's correct)

I feel Worth It doesn't deserve to be so high here  I don't think you liked Talk Dirty either and this sounds a lot like it but a weak copy imo. Also it has Jeremih in it which I know too well you aren't a fan of :kink:

Like Freak of the Week and a lot of people here adore it. It's quite catchy for me. Again it's obvious why it's so high here because of the genre and artists :P

:please: can there be some properly awful songs in the top 5 :heehee:

Never heard Technoclogy.

I personally don't see anything wrong with Krept & Konan actually, Dreams was actually quite good. Jeremih was also good on Somebody, but he's had his fair share of bad songs.

Freak of the Week and Rhymes are major jams

I'll have to disagree.

Freak Of The Week was my Summer anthem this year and I'll always hold fond memories of it.

Love Stormzy too (although Shut Up is better than WickedSkengMan). Not big on any of the other recent ones, especially the Beyonce one.

:puke2: #4: Usher feat. Juicy J - I Don't Mind

Chart Run: 8-14-13-17-18-19-21-24-31-38-44-46-59-64-68-94

And at #4 we have the final song before we reach the holy trinity of the three worst songs of 2015 (who all currently are in the top 5 worst songs of all-time) with I Don't Mind. Which I do mind. This unexciting, disgusting piece of tripe reached #8 before having a far too lengthy chart run. Worse, during its seemingly ended chart run (which I still can't believe only lasted 10 weeks) it would usually team up with another terrible song to try to make people want to go deaf. Thankfully most people (I think) managed to get through until June, when its partner-in-crime departed, with their hearing intact.

:puke2: #3: Chris Brown & Tyga - Ayo

Chart Run: 6-12-10-12-15-15-16-14-14-18-20-22-24-28-27-34-37-38-41-46-49-68-51-55-62-70-69-83-88

Ayo, which stands for Atrocious Yucky Offensive, three adjectives which sum it up pretty well, finishes third here. When I first heard this thing, I had hope it would be the worst we would hit this year. Unfortunately that wasn't so, and despite it spending 18 weeks in which I slowly started to completely lose faith in the musical taste of this country, until it finally sodded off, there are two songs which are undeniably worse. Shall we get to them?

Hi Taylor

Don't get why so many people hate Ayo, so catchy for me and I like the raps too. One of my favourite urban tracks this year.

Same goes for I Don't Mind but a bit less catchy, I like a good urban track and they're even better when the hook gets deep within your head

:puke2: #2: AronChupa - I'm An Albatraoz

Chart Run: 25-32-40-52-72-84

I beg for it to the final time I am ever subjected to this horror everytime I have had to put up with the unpleasantness. Although this thankfully flopped to a point it was only played on the chart three times, I have been forced to three minutes of this excruciating atrocity, because unfortunately some people like to think of it as a good song. I mean, Ayo was horrific but at least the people around me knew it. He's also released another song, where he says he was fired because he was late. No you weren't AronChupa. Your former boss possibly agrees with me when I say that making such a horror is grounds for immediate dismissal.

:puke2: :gold2: #1: Silento - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

Chart Run: 66-63-19-21-22-21-23-30-31-33-44-49-52-51-60-70-76-x-96-87

And the worst of the year (of all-time actually) is the utterly appalling Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). As I said when covering Worth It, I don't like people being arrogant in music (someone who orders you to watch him is usually as arrogant as someone telling you to give it to them because they're apparently worth it). But the arrogance is only a secondary detail. This "song" makes me lose all pity for the deaf and replaces it with envy. I already expected it to be bad, but its awfulness went beyond anything I could have expected, stripping Gangnam Style of the dubious honour of being the worst song of all-time in about 10 days. And while the chart has been lenient, my friends all inexplicably like this and I had to suffer it to my friend's birthday party, along with Fancy, Gangnam Style and I'm An Albatraoz before it. I love my friends but god they have terrible taste in music.

Anyway, while I think this kid deserves a good whipping for having made this, or possibly a caning, I'll just hope, beg, beseech even, that I will never, ever, ever, be subjected to Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) again for the rest of my days.

I don't mind I Don't Mind :kink: I don't bother listening to it by choice though. Love Ayo (but that's because I love Loyal even more and I'm usually a fan of his music). Can definitely see the reason to hate I'm An Albatraoz bc vocals but I find it fun to listen to IMO :music:

yeah Watch Me Whip :puke: my least fave of the year too! :D

Worth It is fantastic :( :( Also don't mind Freak Of The Week!

That top 4 is all utterly horrid though and fantastic winner in the form of that silento thing :puke2: :puke2: Amazing hatechart Taylor
