what's up with people releasing covers of 'Fast Car' right now?

 

This one got released not long ago which I'm loving right now

 

Surprised this has taken off so much in Aus, meaning that it probably will here too soon. It's a nice enough listen but rather 'my first tropical house' and a little generic. Much prefer the Tobtok version, which does more interesting things with the melody, no doubt this will be another Sunset Strippers/Cabin Crew situation where I prefer the version which has less success!

This is now #1 on iTunes in Australia, but also the Tobtok version has climbed into the Top 15!

I don't like it at all, it's almost as bad as Sam Feldt's version of 'Show Me Love'.

 

I liked this version of it from a few years ago:

 

Really like this, no surprise considering I like the original and the tropical house sound! If I were to make any changes myself I'd make it a little more chilled, but I definitely hope it becomes a hit here in the New Year.

This one sounded quite good. Blimey, everyone seems to be jumping on board with remaking this classic :lol:

 

 

Vocals aren't as good as in the Tobtok version but I'm loving the tropical house :music:

I love the Jonas Blue one, not a patch on the original but not much is! Such a lovely cover. The Tobtok one is horrendous though, really grates on me for some reason.

A few weeks later and it's set for a top 3 debut :D

 

LOVE this atm, hope it sticks around for a long time.

Already getting fed up of this :lol: It's annoying because I like the production but not her voice whereas I love the Tobtok girl's voice but I'm not keen on the production -_-
