Well, I doubt she would use the words bop or banger, but if she promised some uptempo pop tracks...she delivered. Battlelines, The Waiting Game, SOS, Staring at the Moon, Alarm Bells...that's half the album being uptempo. And some of the other songs are more midtempo than ballads. The album is an inoffensive country-pop collection (it's more acoustic than country anyway, isn't it?), which is what she's been talking about all this time. Battlelines is pretty great. For me the next great solo-Saturdays song after Back To You.

February 10, 20178 yr SUCH a great album. Battlelines, Angel Like You, Staring At The Moon (THAT CHORUS) and Grow Up Not Old are all essential. Can't get over how much she sounds like Mandy Moore too, gorgeous voice.

Battlelines 7/10 Nice track, if not a bit too generic The Waiting Game 5/10 Has grown on me a bit since the initial release Stay My Love 6/10 Not my cup of tea but it's a good song and the harmonies are great All You Ever Need Is Love 5/10 S.O.S. 8/10 This is my early favorite. Sounds like it could be on Wordshaker Please Don't Tell Me 4/10 Staring At The Moon 8/10 Been perched for this, studio version didn't disappoint Alarm Bells 6/10 Craving You 2/10 Not feeling it Out The Door 5/10 Grow Up Not Old 4/10 Angel Like You 5/10 I have a feeling a lot of these will grow.

February 12, 20178 yr She's still doing solidly at #11 in UK and #8 in Ireland! Her promo hasn't been bad but I wish she had a few more TV appearances in like This Morning/Loose Women/ The Late Late Show in Ireland? All she's down for as far as I know is Lorraine on Tuesday for the remainder of the week unless she announces more!
