So kicks off another year, with a new number one from 17-year old Greyson Chance who removes Coldplay from #1 after four weeks. It is only the second appearance from Greyson following the success of Thrilla in Manila last year and in that time his voice has really matured. Coldplay however should not be too hung up as they achieve the title of the first act to have 5 songs inside the Top 40, and Everglow joins AOAL in the Top Ten! It being the beginning of the Year as usual a number of tracks are going back up the charts, while others re-enter from the outer reaches. Canadians Bob Moses gets the highest climber with Tearing Me Up (a lot like Chris Isaak's 'Wicked Game') which finally takes them beyond the Top 30 while the highest **chart* entry comes from DJ/producer Grant Harris or Goldhouse with a superb track called 'Over'. In my opinion Greyson probably has a few weeks yet at the top.
