ew BBHMM :puke: 45 seconds is a lot better but it's still Thinking Out Loud style boring :nocheer: I do enjoy the Handbag House and The Him remix of those though (recently found out Handbag one isn't on Youtube any more, can't find it :( )

I don't like Pretty Girls either :P dull vocals, Fancy was 100x better for me. Also the lyrics are awful and narcissistic

Love most of the rest though :yahoo:

Two big hits by Taylor Swift in this section, 'Wildest Dreams' and 'Bad Blood'! 'Wildest Dreams' became Taylor's 2nd #1 single, following 'Blank Space'. The '1989' album was my favourite album released in 2014, in fact I'd consider it to be one of the strongest albums of the 2010s decade so far. <3

I quite liked 'Happy Little Pill' (a #12 hit in 2014) but Troye Sivan really hit me with 'Wild', making it to #1 in September 2015. Its the first song taken from his wonderful debut album 'Blue Neighbourhood'. Just stunning.

Delta Goodrem unexpectedly released one of the highlight songs of her career last year, 'Wings', and it became her first ever #1 in my chart, staying at the top for 2 weeks. :D

The best performing non-Top 5 hit of the year is 'King' by Years & Years. Despite peaking at #7, it managed great longevity - 20 weeks in the Top 40 altogether, 13 of those within the Top 20, and a gold certification. It is one of only six singles in my chart history to not make the Top 5, but score over 400 points.

Justin Bieber came back strong in 2015, and has so far racked up 4 Top 10 hits from his new album 'Purpose', in my weekly chart. 'What Do You Mean?' peaked at #3 in September, and is the most successful song of the year to not achieve a peak of #1.

Hi Jay! :D

Reading through this, I think the biggest surprises would be seeing the wonderful 'I Bet' so high as I'd no idea you like it so much  and 'FourFiveSeconds' finishing at #36 because I clearly remember you not being a fan at first! In fairness, I'd imagine very few people (or Rihanna fans at least) loved it on first listen as it's definitely jarring as you say and takes some time to appreciate. I've found it hasn't aged for me at all despite being quite a big hit, so I'd rank it fairly high on her back catalogue at this stage, something I'd never have thought at the start. :o

Looking forward to your top 15 as there's been loads of great stuff so far. ^_^

I feel like it's gonna take me ages to get into "Sweet Lovin'" but I have a feeling I'll end up loving it just as much as I loved "Easy Love".

Lots of incredible songs there  #16-20 is particularly amazing!

Ty! *.* I thought you'd approve, so many of your faves. ;o

Sweet Lovin' <3 I may have to be putting that higher (at about that height) for 2016 as it's sticking with me so well even now.

Ooh fab! The brand new single is incredibly :music: :music: too. <3

Hey Noah! *.*

I Bet  It had a very long chart stay for me, achieving its peak quite late on! [08-15-14-23-31-37-xx-12-21-28-24-29-17-27-22-11-04-08-14-26-39-39-xx]

I certainly experienced a big turnaround with 'FFS' (lol at that acronym). :kink: I really wish she'd get a move on with 'Anti', I just hope she has some more good stuff up her sleeve.

Thank you! (I'll make sure to reply to your EOY very soon btw. :D)

EOY Position - 2015 Peak - 2015 Points - Artist - Title [Overall Peak - Overall Points (for pre-2015 songs)]

http://i.imgur.com/r96mrEa.jpg 12 - #01 - 606 points - Miguel - Coffee

http://i.imgur.com/V9O8p04.jpg 14 - #01 - 544 points - Adele - Hello

http://i.imgur.com/V9O8p04.jpg 15 - #01 - 522 points - Madonna - Living For Love

MADONNA FELL! :o ...out of my YTD Top 10 with 'Living For Love' (after spending a considerable amount of the year within it!) but she ends up at a still highly respectable 15th in my EOY. I honestly think this is one of her best singles, and if it had been released a few years earlier I'm sure it would have been a huge #1 hit. It was such a shame to see it not really amount to much in the worldwide charts (it managed #26 in the UK and didn't even make the Hot 100 in the US). In my chart its her third most successful song (2005 onwards), behind 4 Minutes & Hung Up.

Hello. It's Adele. ^_^ :hi:

Somewhat unexpectedly, Carly Rae Jepsen returned to the music scene in 2015 after a couple of years away, relaunching herself with the majestic pop moment that is 'I Really Like You'. It became Carly's first #1 in my chart, outdoing 'Call Me Maybe' (which made it to #3 in 2012). Even better stuff was still to come from Carly, though... more on that later.

Miguel is so underrated, commercially speaking. 'Coffee' is completely sublime, but it sadly only made it to #97 in the UK, #78 in both the US & Australia, and #69 in Belgium. That's it. Bah! It was a different story in my own chart though, where it spent 2 weeks at #1 (in its solo form - I don't think Wale really added much to the track). It's taken from the album, 'Wildheart', which is one of the best releases of the year. P.S. Coffee's artwork is as provocative as the song itself, easily one of my favourites of the year. :kink:

'Doing It' (feat. Rita Ora) became Charli XCX's first #1 as a lead artist (following her featured role on 'Fancy'), and was one of the very first major hits of 2015. It is Rita's second biggest hit in my chart, her most successful being 2014's 'I Will Never Let You Down'.

Hi Jay

5 good songs there. I agree with you there at Miguel is very underrated commercially speaking.

'Doing It' just seemed to vanish after it was released for me. Just a solid tune though.

Whaddayamean, King, Sweet Lovin' sweeeet :music:

Those two are the weakest Taylor tracks of this era for me :kink: I hope her stronger ones are still to come :D

Carly

Doing It <3 Gone but not forgotten. Bring on that top 10!

That set

11 - #01 - 607 points - Charli XCX featuring Rita Ora - Doing It

12 - #01 - 606 points - Miguel - Coffee v sexy v swag vibez  :music: B-)

13 - #01 - 561 points - Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You

14 - #01 - 544 points - Adele - Hello

15 - #01 - 522 points - Madonna - Living For Love  lamfooo wtf is living for love?

This is looking SURPRISINGLY good ;o bring on ha top 10. I'll be peeping this thread until the next set~
