If you are a FTSE100 executive, today's your day. At some point today, you will have "earned" as much as somebody on the median wage will earn in the whole of this year. It's a bit late this year, as it is assumed that you didn't start the year's work until yesterday.

pro rata i'm on the median wage (actually less than) so I'm rather excited to see people who are so much more talented and capable and smarter than us poor lackeys earn so much dosh, especially when they deservedly gets millions for unlucky decisions which bankrupt their company.

 

I mean, we can all throw a dice can't we? Shall we invest in crap that I don't understand, sell it to other people who don't understand, and ignore all professional people who warn us of the consequences of selling crap? Of course we will, I'm rich and important so I know better and either way I get lorry-loads of cash!
