Completely agree. I really tried to like, just for Vanessa, but it was just too much of a stretch

Her music just sounds so Dated. It's like she's went back to the early 2000's for her inspiration and it wouldn't be so bad if it was actually appealing. I do really like all of the songs so far but it's easy to see why the general public wouldn't be into it.

In her live stream she sited Janet Jackson, and Tinashe as inspirations or people she likes (among others) Janet and Tinashe wouldn't be seen dead releasing something as dire as relationship goals :lol:

Downloaded my pre-order and have had this on repeat for most of today...very far removed from what the girls do but I like it! I love the early 00s R&B feel to it, it's very Vanessa and she sounds amazing on it. 'Nostalgia' is probably my favourite of the tracks and the obvious single of the four.
