Oasis's album with sell ALOT more in the first week. Their days of selling over 4 million copies of an album maybe gone but this is a greatest hits and will be bought by not just die hard fans but by casual music fans so i expect huge sales ^_^

This album was due to be released on November 6th, but then The Beatles announced their release date of their "LOVE" album to the same date to wipe them out take them on. (On more than one occasion Sir Paul McCartney has stated that they are the "musical act" that he finds most "offensive" & has been irritated by the claims of their manager that they are as popular as The Beatles).

 

But then Louis Walsh, moved the release date to the 20th November; doubtless so they can promote the new album on Ant & Dec's Saturday TakeAway & X-Factor in a pathetic attempt to get another 1 week at number one album.

 

I think they will beat Oasis "Stop The Clock" Best Of album, as it will contain no new material, so music fans like myself will just buy the non-chart eligible Acquesce EP instead.

No, i disagree about Oasis, It is GH and most of their huge fanbace will buy it as well as casual music fans who would'nt usually buy an Oasis album. The no new material won't effect sales hugly imo considering alot of music fans don't consider recent Oasis material as classics. -_-

Westlife decided for the release of the album (nov 20th) before september 10th 2006. Cause you will have to know they have just finished their world tour, on septembet 17th, and they need to shoot a new video and also to promote a whole album. They just couln't do it before nov 20th 2006.
