ANYONE REMEMBER WORZEL GUMMIDGE,I HAVE GOT ALL THE DVDS recently as my own little girl loves it,i loved it myself as a kid and have really enjoyed watching it,

I used to love Worzel Gummidge when I was little :o Except I didn't like looking at him because he was such a mess -_- I was a fickle child :lol:

watching some of the episodes on dvd brought back some memories i tell ya,but i actually remember seeing of them years ago,

 

does anyone know what ever came of some of th ecast,i know about worzel and aunt sally etc,but are all th eolder charactors dead or alive ?

I know Charlotte Coleman died a few years ago. Geoffrey Bayldon (The Crowman) is still alive and still works to this day.

 

And we all know what Barbara Windsor (Saucy Nancy) is doing these days.

His actually done some Doctor Who audio adventures playing the first doctor, and i think he appears now and again in the odd tv drama.

again i probably wouldnt recognise him,i have to say the years have been good to aunt slayy,una stubbs was recently in eastenders and has aged very very well indeed

it was great - one of my favourite ever kids shows.... but I did prefer Catweazle, which I always thought was pretty similar.

its great to see im not the only one with fond memories of good ole worzel,but yes i must agree about some of the episodes been dark,they are mainly from the 3 and 4th series which were worzel gummidge down under flimed in new zealand and one or 2 episodes are a little scary for kids

catweazle and worzel gummage are those type of shows that always get mentioned in a list show series at some point (except if its just music :lol: )

worzel should be repeated on some of the kids channels i think
