September 28, 200618 yr SPOILERS [DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN THIS SEASON]: Susan has moved on from Karl, her ex-husband, who is no longer a regular, but a recurring character. Mike is in a coma after being run over by Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan), and Susan has been dutifully attending for Mike. When Mike wakes up from his coma, he is a peculiar man and he has a darker personality, thinking that this was not an accident. In the hallway of the hospital, Susan meets a man named Ian Kavanaugh (Dougray Scott) whose wife, Jane, is in a coma. They have coffee together, and then begin to date. Lynette is having a hard time integrating yet another kid, Kayla Huntington (Rachel Fox), into the family. Kayla and her mother, Nora Huntington (Kiersten Warren), are both causing problems between Tom and Lynette. Nora and Kayla try to get Lynette hooked up with a tempting new neighbor, Art (played by Matt Roth), who lives in the Youngs' old house. In return, Lynette tries to hook Nora up with Carlos, since Carlos kissed her at the reception after Orson and Bree's wedding. Nora and Kayla decide to sell their house on Arden Drive and move in with the Scavos full time. Also, Lynette quits her job to help Tom run a pizzeria. Bree and Orson became engaged in the season premiere. Bree wants to wait until they are married before having sex, but is overcome with lust when he tells her his secrets for removing difficult stains. When Orson attempts to perform cunnilingus on Bree, she protests that she doesn't do that. When Orson asks why not, she explains, "I'm a Republican." Bree relents, and apparently has her first orgasm. At the party announcing their engagment, Orson's former neighbor Carolyn Bigsby (played by Laurie Metcalf) shows up, and loudly tells Bree and the party guests that Orson murdered his ex-wife, who has not been seen since she (according to Orson) left him. Bree and Orson will get married on the second episode of the season. Andrew also returns, and we learn that he has become a hustler shortly after Bree dumped him on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Carlos and Gabrielle get divorced early in the season. In the season premiere, their surrogate maid Xiao-Mei (Gwendoline Yeo) is confined to bedrest because of her pregnancy. Gabrielle is her reluctant -- and obnoxious -- caretaker, threatening Xiao-Mei with deportation to China when she is too demanding. Xiao-Mei has the baby on the second episode of the season. During her bitter and unpleasant divorce with Carlos, Gabrielle tries to hook up with other men. She runs into John at a restaurant and has sex with him at a hotel, only to find out he's engaged to another woman. Edie's 18-year-old nephew, Austin (Josh Henderson), moves in with her. Julie gets annoyed at his loud music playing while he is cleaning his bike. They will get into a fight, but Julie is attracted to his rudeness, so the two begin a relationship, much to Susan's displeasure. Austin's rudeness rubs off on Julie, resulting in the beginning of her rebellion phase. The big mystery this season revolves around Bree's new husband, Orson, and his mental hospital friend, Amanda (Julie White). The mystery brings all the housewives together, as they're all concerned about Bree's freaky new husband, Orson. He is an odd character, but he cares about Bree a lot and wants to have a good marriage with her. Orson was married once before to a woman named Alma, who planned on leaving Orson. However, how their marriage truly ended is a mystery and Bree is suspicious that Orson killed her. Also, when Orson and Alma were married, they had a nosey neighbor, Carolyn. The mystery will include the answer to the question why did Orson run over Mike. James Denton has revealed that Orson and Mike do have history, and it is slowly revealed. Also, one of the leading characters will be killed in a storyline starting in November. There will be a hostage situation at a supermarket. Lynette, Nora, Edie, Austin, Julie, and others are there. The shooter will be Laurie Metcalf's character, Carolyn Bigsby, because she found out her husband, the store owner, is having an affair. Susan, who isn't in the store, tricks the hostage negotiator into giving her a phone and begs Carolyn to allow her to trade places with Julie. Art, the new neighbor in the Youngs' house, saves the day. The story will be featured on the news, much to Bree's horror. Bree feels guilty because she was the one who told Carolyn about the affair. Lynette will be wounded, but not badly, and another character will be killed. The character that will die will be a woman who will be prominently featured this season up until her death, but she won't be one of the four leads. She will also be a relative of Art's. Mary Alice Young is continuing to watch over the neighborhood from her grave and sharing with us, through narration, the juicy secrets inside each house. January 2, 200718 yr Possibly two of my favourite shows EVER  I've just been re-watching Season 2 on dvd, and I CAN'T WAIT for the new series
January 2, 200718 yr Don't get dissappointed by Listen to the Rain on the Roof (#3-01) though. It's not the best premiere they could have done. There are major teasers in the premiere that are going to develop into the whole plot of Season 3. But it gets better in A Weekend in the Country (#3-03), and finally (up to now) it peaks at Bang (#3-07) which, judging by the title, you can guess what happens. BTW, these aren't spoilers, since I have just said the titles, which you can find practically anywhere.
