New teaser track was published this week.

It's very late 90s trance. Produced by Stuart Price.

I do like it a lot. Better than the stuff on their last album - apart from Axis.

To me it sounds fairly similar to what they were going for on Electric, I've only recently got around to giving that album a listen and it is so magnificent. 'Love Is A Bourgeois Construct' is fast ascending the ranks of their best songs for me!
Graham Norton played a radio mix of "Inner sanctum" on BBC Radio 2 today, in case anyone wants to hear it. I can't post links it seems, but it's at 1:27:35 on the show. He also talks about the new album for a bit and mentions a four part special on PSB coming up in a few months.
I heard it this morning...it's a bit of a banger isn't it? I do love Pet Shop Boys anyway so I'm excited to hear what this will sound like. I really got into them around the time they released 'Yes' and won their Outstanding Contribution BRIT (2009, I think?). I loved 'Elysium' that followed up, wasn't too keen on the last album, so hopefully this will be a good 'un.
For me, Inner Sanctum is like a carbon copy of "Axis" but only a bit mediocre. Look forward to their new album though.

Inner Sanctum is slowly growing on me, but I'm looking forward to hearing The Pop Kids when that premieres.

Electric remains one of my favourite albums so if they're going in that direction again I'll be very happy!

I really love this, incredibly instant and the spoken verse is great, similar to Saint Etienne's fantastic Over The Border in a way. Their best lead single since Love Etc for me, I feel like its 1993 listening to this but in a very good way, the modern production flourishes bring it bang up to date.

Thought I'd post this as I couldn't find the thread the other day and they've just performed 'The Pop Kids' on The Graham Norton Show as I write this.

For me and most fans/critics, 'Electric' was their best album since 'Very'. But I'm someone who defends the underrated three albums that followed 'Very' and also loves the three albums that came after those (yes, even 'Elysium' - as much as there's a couple of duff tracks). In fact, I might as well say I have no issue with any of their albums really :D.

I just hope this can be on the same level as 'Electric' in terms of how much I like it, and it seems likely as it's getting equally strong critical acclaim like 'Electric' did for the first time in 20 years for them and both 'Inner Sanctum' and 'The Pop Kids' are sitting well with me so far. The B-Sides to 'The Pop Kids' also sound rather good too.

Another new track from the album, 'Happiness', was made available on Wednesday which I've only just stumbled upon.

This album is brilliant!

Happiness, The Pop Kids and Say It To Me are my three favourites at the moment.

Burn and The Dictator Decides are my favourites of the non-singles, I could imagine Kylie singing the former somehow.

I gave this album earlier today - some really good tracks on there, The Pop Kids is definetly my favourite, I'm glad to see they haven't abandoned their catchy pop song side.

The likes of Thursday and LIABC were better though.

I've heard clips of this album on iTunes and very surprised. It sounds really good. I actually think "pop kids" is one of the weaker tracks. I really like undertow, happiness, sad robot world and say it to me. There aren't many of today's acts who will still be churning out decent albums like this in 30 years time.

Really? I listened to the snippets and that's the only one I decided to download, I love the little instrumental hook it's got going on.

Why do you think it's their worst song ever?!! Which it surely can't be with the borefest of Elysium in existence.
