I know I keep adding to the list but I forgot to include: Holding Back The Tears which I came across on You Tube. Imagine it with a full orchestra!

That's exactly what I was thinking yesterday. But with a real orchestra this time.

I wish they'd leave out Sure and the covers and included gems like this one. HBTT, Nobody Else, NF and BFG were the songs that really showcased Gary's songwriting talent back in the 90s. For this reason only, they deserve a place on the GH album.

Looking forward to your choices, Jay.

Agree with Aphrodite about Reach Out. Shame we don't hear it on tours anymore.

I like Reach Out very much. It worked surprisingly well as the opening number on the BW tour. Sadly I don't think it will make the cut. More likely to choose Said It All (under rated song in my opinion) or The Garden.

Who says anyway that a disk has to have only 12-15 songs? If they want a GH album with 60 tracks on it, they should do it. I'd be more than happy.

I always forget about Said It All, for some reason. I think it will make the cut. I don't even remember anymore: was it even a single?

It might be an unpopular opinion, but, for me, Said It All would have deserved to be more successful than RTW.

Yep, Said It Al was a single. It definitely make the Top 20, if not Top 10. If I remember correctly it was the video where they all dressed as clowns. I think they did some publicity for it on the JR show.

Oh yeah, I remember now the performance on JR. Thank you, dylan.

It's really strange that a song like that wasn't no 1.

Said it all went top 10 (number 9) it had a good promotion strategy and had a multiple cd release which were all worth buying. I like said it all but would have preferred U All Night to have made the top 10 instead. Talking of this era i always felt Hold Up A Light would have done great as single.

I must say, Holding back the tears is probably one my all time favourite TT songs. That video on YouTube is stunning!

Ok...I went a little over haha!

I'm not really a fan of Up All Night, I find it a bit dated and it's not really going anywhere.

Hold Up A Light has high chances on making it on the GH album.

I like the verses on Hold Up A Light, but I have a problem with the chorus - in general, I dislike it when a chorus is made up of one line that gets repeated endlessly.

That's why I prefer Said It All to both songs ... and to a lot of other songs.

If I made a top 5 of their single releases, SIA would be right after BFG and before RTW and Patience - for me, of course.

Hold Up a Light is always wonderfully received at their concerts and sometimes better received than some singles.

HUAL is one such song that comes alive in an arena. It was quite magical at The Circus tour. The sun had come down over Wembley and the illuminated elephant appeared. It was quite something to see. I'll never forget that night. It was the penultimate night at the stadium and the atmosphere all day was amazing. At the end of the concert as they sung RTW it was the one and only time I've been tearful at a concert. It felt like the whole crowd knew they'd been part of something quite special.

HUAL was a damp squid at The Progress tour. It simply didn't work and it's a song which comes alive when it's dark. It was such a shame to see that song and TT's other songs have so little impact - the one and only time I've been underwhelmed with their performance. :(

Any performance i have seen of Hold up a Light has been wonderful. By seen i mean dvd of course, it has a marvelous catchy chorus.
I love HUAL! and after the III tour, UAN has really grown on me again
Up All Night i felt was performed very poorly on the Circus tour and did not come across as good it has done in other performances.
What about Lie To Me performed by Take That?

Lie to Me is a stunning song, but I can't see it performed by TT. But, if they found a way, I wouldn't mind it at all :)

I think they'll avoid solo songs at the reunion tour - at least I hope they will. I feel Progress was disjointed partly because they were trying to shoehorn in too much stuff. They have an extensive back catalogue of TT songs, many of which we haven't heard live. Therefore, in spite of loving much of Gary's solo work and liking some of Mark's (as well as Rob's believe it or not) I would stay clear of mixing up the solo stuff with the bands work.

I would be in the Yes camp on this. Truly beautiful song.

I can't see them touching the solo stuff in the UK...but I'd expect a Robbie section at least when they tour Europe.

Would be nice to see them all on stage though, rather than leaving it for Rob
