Jay Sean is a relieved man. After a few years of struggle, he’s finally off Cash Money Records with reports of him even winning around $1 million in past owed royalties from the company, for "Down" "Do You Remember" and "2012".

 

The British singer of Indian origin now has a new deal with Sony Music and a new management as well. The first official release from the relationship is the new single ‘Make My Love Go’ where he reunites with his ‘Do You Remember’ hit making partner Sean Paul. The Dancehall tune has a familiar melody from Maxi Priest’s hit song ‘Close To You‘ in the bridge (an all time favorite of Jay's)

Crept into the top 40 on iTunes! Playlisted by Capital, Kiss & 1Xtra, this is shaping up to be big!

Creeping up to #26 on iTunes. Could be hearing this a lot in the next few weeks.

Hmmm, was wondering why this was becoming a hit after so many flops. I guess that change in label/management has done him good.
