February 28, 20169 yr Author Most are elected in specific seats with specific issues but there is a left alliance led by People Before Profit but other independents Come from the right and support FF or FG - the Healey-Rae brothers in Kerry are a good example basically just FF as they support that sort of localised popularise republicanism unique to Kerry. (And plenty of brown envelopes handed over - Father Ted was really based on these guys lol)! Edited February 28, 20169 yr by Steve201
February 28, 20169 yr I read about the Healy-Raes and they really look like everything the world culturally patronised Ireland for for so long.
February 28, 20169 yr The best thing about this entire election was watching Renua lose all of their seats.
February 28, 20169 yr Author I read about the Healy-Raes and they really look like everything the world culturally patronised Ireland for for so long. They live in their 'Kingdom' in County Kerry and don't get out much, I personally find them hilarious because I think they are being ironic with the way they get on but it isn't funny when a dynasty like this dominate a constituency for so long, and they are just basically independent Fianna Failers.

February 29, 20169 yr Author Yeh good to see that - all their female candidates looked like Maggie Thatcher - just a more rightist FG!
