I would pay good money to see David's video. The colour palette, the styling, the art direction of his video are sublime. I get actual chills. As random as it may be, I feel it would work in favour of the song. A Work Bitch scenario if you will. The way Britney moves is so sensual and the editing is just so well done....... Whatever the case at least we have a decent quality leak to enjoy.

Also the leopard is adorable.

Thought as my first mod job, I'd pin this. As hopefully there's still some life left in it. With hopefully some growing radio support, Carpool and VMAs.

Fallen a bit on iTunes but it's not freefalling. Hopefully we start to get some positive updates on Spotify and some good radio updates.

"Make Me" has actually stabilized since the video release. I think with the CMA Music Festival and Suicide Squad songs dropping from their rolling effects, it will start to climb a bit again.

I know we get a general radio update anyway, but I'm going to do the occasional update from how much Z100 (New York) and Kiis (LA) are playing the song. For those who don't know, they are the two biggest stations in the US, and are owned by iHeart, who Britney is doing a festival with in September.

They usually play the song combined 9/10 a day (with kiis playing it a bit more). This is quite good, but only about 1 or 2 of these plays are daytime.

Yesterday Make Me received its most plays since the radio deal, with Z100 playing at the peak time of 8AM for the first time, too.

Yesterday:

Z100 = 6 plays

KIIS = 8 plays

Total: 14

won't have high hopes

Britney could at least have a peak in the top 20 on pop radio. With "Don't Mind" and "Me Too" collapsing and her only danger being The Chainsmokers at this point it seems like a given.

I haven't been able to get proper radio updates for a few days but I expect she got about 4.3m AI yesterday which is really great. Hope that can stay solid or improve.

I think it's gonna take a few days to get top 20, the closest song dropping above Brit is Meghan's 'Me Too', which is currently 1100 spins ahead. I'd estimate 4 days until Brit is top 20 IF she keeps up current progress.

A notable climb on US Spotify today. From #69 (240,969) to #59 (290,396). Hopefully it's not a fluke and it's making its way towards the top 50 again.

Also 84 to 72 on Global Spotify.

The video controversy is the only reason this is still gaining, TBH.

It's at least stabilized on iTunes #36. Been getting light green updates except for the most recent, but, it only dropped from 0.241 to 0.240.

We are on track to jump back into the top 25 on the Hot 100, possibly even scrape the top 20.

In theory, if they WERE to release the original video this Friday, we would easily go top 3 on US iTunes again and the video would bring in enough views to easily land us around #7 - #10. IN A PERFECT WORLD.

I don't think the original video is coming. I mean, I wish it were, but I seriously doubt it. They went to great lengths to avoid releasing it in the first place. And I think the product placement has blocked them from re-releasing it. It's cost extra money and time re-editing it again so it could released.

I blame LaChapelle more than anything. Apparently this all happened because he refused to edit out G-easy's sex scene and they wanted to add coverage to her boobs in the cage scene.

This doesn't seem like an issue where RCA f***ed up 'Perfume', it seems more like David is just a twat that refuses to change his work even when it's a collaborative process. To act like a 4 year old and pull out your photo shoot is ridiculous as well. Britney did not know that G-Easy was going to appear to be f***ing her, and her label didn't want her nipples to show. Two very understandable requests that make me understand why they basically said "well, f*** this guy.".

I'd rather have this new shit video then have Britney promoting something she never agreed with in the first place.

I heard it was more to do with the product placement, the Sony TV is thrown out to kill someone and it's a bad representation of the exercise video too which is thrown out the window. And apparently even the lip stick thing weren't happy for reasons unknown.

But, that's because Chapelke refused to change anything. Take out the guy getting electrocuted. Get some sponsors like a f***ing liquor company and a clothing line. Use your own damn perfume, Arden throws a shit ton of money at anything she wants because she is their #1 celebrity brand.

Product placement should NEVER direct a music video, it should be put in accordance to how it compliments the product. Who does that fall onto? LaChapelle. He's the one responsible for getting a those ideas okayed by the company. He obviously did not do a very good job when it came to that. Which is why RCA swooped in with Britney and did the best they could with a budget barely good enough for a fourth single video.

Also, I really think they should consider discounting 'Make Me' on iTunes. Even if just to 99cents.

Yeah, i think a discount would be perfect. What different discounts do US offer? Into You has flown up the charts this week since being discounted.
