I know we maybe have VMAs and Carpool, but I still think it's important to have some early promo before then. Big as those promos are, by the time they come around it may be too late for any kind of last effect.

Make me has had an amazing 8 consecutive green updates on Kworb today (two of them being dark green), but hasn't moved up from #36 annoyingly.

gotta admit the g eazy sex scenes are super uncomfortable, but the rest of the original vid is 🔥

The song has such a slick and sexy beat and melody, it's such a shame they went for the cheap, teenage-girl-giggly concept. Didn't work for me at all, especially with half of the shots of Britney 'dancing' are just her ass making circles.

I still love the song and there some nice shots there, but I guess I was hoping for a more classy video, and not one with Britney hooking up with some guy after some weird audition sequence.

Yes. It made me uncomfortable mostly just because we all know that's so far from what Britney would have ever wanted to film. Hence why we only see some hands touching him and not her. Just look at how coy and shy she looks walking into the beginning of that scene. Then she jumps to being on the floor while he looks at his watch? Lol, nah f*** that.

 

It would have been great to just have had him playing as the neighbor looking over at all that was happening next door (where she's in the cage next to the pool) while doing his rap. Or just have him like in the new video with a couple thrown in scenes of them flirting/ dancing with each other.

 

Regardless, the MM video looks far from his best work. But, I won't say that as my official opinion as we have only gotten 1/2 of the video in LQ form.

I don't get it either. Is she a pornstar or something? Why is she auditioning guys and then f***ing the winner? Where can I audition for the Olympic swimming teams???

You should really say where this stuff is coming from. "A guy from Exhale claiming to be a source" is not reliable, and you get people's hopes up if you don't point stuff like that out.

 

Anyone who claims the 'Make Me' video is coming without real evidence of being a source (e.g. having been provably right about stuff in the past) should have their info taken with an ocean of salt.

 

Video before VMAs for maximum hype and exposure and blah blah is a Britney fan's current dream come true. Claiming that's gonna happen is the laziest way to get attention.

It's like when the 2007 VMA's finished and an insider on exhale told everyone that was a joke and she was coming back to do the real performance at the end of the show.

Team Britney used the photoshoot for the Glory album art budget to shoot Make Me, also David's David LaChapelle camps knows that there were to be 2 videos. The point of them leaking online (and parts to Perez who was paid by team B btw) ..was to build hype. They knew after WB and Perfume that the fan base who has been calling her "Momney" would freak out and explode on the internet, following with new outlets picking it up. David was promised his video would be released...but only right before the VMA performance and album drop to build hype for their "sexual" performance....so yes we will get a HD version on Britney's Vevo but not until right before the VMA performace/album drop (they want the story to keep building)....

Looks like Make Me will sneak top 20 on pop tomorrow, possibly even 19.

 

It might be a bit of a challenge to stay there for very long though, with about 4 songs gaining hard behind it.
