Absolutely perfect nominations! The top 6 supporting actress performances of the year by a mile along with Rebel Wilson who was also great :heart: #CategoryFraud repeats istelf here as Alicia Vikander ends up in supporting for The Danish Girl (one of her 2 nominations in this category). Voting was completely split between Actress and Supporting Actress but she did well here but missed the top 5 in Actress due to the top 5 being miles ahead! Can Rooney Mara defeat #CategoryFraud or has she completely missed out? Also this means Kristen is up for a Buzzjack Movie Award and a Buzzjack Razzie this year!

Who's going to smash tomorrow? Who's going to fall? Also I can reveal one movie that is nominated for Best Picture hasn't received a single nomination yet! :o

Alicia Vikander for TDG was top of the Actress noms to begin with so was a bit worried she'd be nominated twice dor the same role but at least that didn't happen! She was fantastic in both films in two very different roles so I'm hoping she'll win.

 

Glad Carol got a best Director nomination here, some of the shots in it were my faves this year. Seriously overlooked at the Oscars for both this and Best Picture.

 

Some good Best Picture noms so far too, all are close to 10/10 for me.

 

All of those people are so attractive too, the males is gonna be very hard to vote for because they're all on a par for me. The females is between Alicia, Jennifer and Scarlett although I think the former edges it for the accent.
