Pop star jams Against Illegal Downloads

WASHINGTON, D.C. Friday Sep.22.2006 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Kelly Clarkson is serious about stopping illegal downloads, and she took her case all the way to Washington.

 

The "American Idol" winner joined members of Congress at a special event called "Grammys On The Hill," put on by the Recording Academy. Backed by the Congressional Grammy Band, Kelly was more than proud to front a jam session designed to show the public how much work goes into making a piece of music.

 

Kelly was made an honorary board member of the "What's The Download" campaign associated with the event. Other members include Kanye West, Common and Mark McGrath.

Maybe not but at least she standing up for her rights which is good.

I like to download music but if i like it i buy it anyway.

mm well i heard on the news a few weeks back that in a few months a site will open and you can download any song for free.. i don't know how or why.
