WILL Young is to headline Ladies Day at Newbury Racecourse in August.

 

The inaugural winner of Pop Idol will return to his West Berkshire roots on Saturday, August 13. The Hungerford-grown star’s first single Evergreen/ Anything Is Possible became the fastest-selling debut single in the UK.

 

Chief executive at the racecourse, Julian Thick, said: “We are delighted to announce that Will Young will be performing after a day of high-quality racing action on Betfred Ladies Day. As a multi award-winning artist with a host of number one albums to his name and a local connection, we’re expecting a great crowd to see him round off one of the highlights of our summer season.”

 

Will Young will perform after Betfred Ladies Day which will be held in support of Breast Cancer Care.
