9. It Follows & Big Hero 6 (1 vote, 0 second preferences)

So the horror nominee goes out in joint 9th, I think I can guess who threw this a vote. :P Also with a single vote is Big Hero 6, maybe it would've done better if it didn't exist in the same year as Inside Out.

Glad Big Hero 6 is out, it's good but the 2nd weakest of the line-up!

It Follows on the other hand should be quite a few places higher, creepy and incredible movie

A bit sad to see Big Hero 6 this low, already one of my favourite ever Disney films.

Yay at Brie Larson winning but I think Cate Blanchett may have been my fav now actually, can't get enough of her at the moment.

7. Room- 1 (2 second preferences)

8. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2- 1 (1 second preference)

We now lose two movies which I think should have both been top 5! While being the weakest of the franchise (actually Part 1 was possibly weaker), Mockingjay Part 2 is still a very good movie and the cast- especially J Law- are fantastic as usual  And I was shocked Room came as low as 7th, I really thought it could win! What's even more surprising is that it was once dead last but picked up in the last 5 votes! The movie excels through excellent direction, an interesting script and powerful performances from Brie and Jacob

Big big shock coming up next, who's falling out?

Poor Room :(!

6. Star Wars: The Force Awakens (1 vote, 3 second preferences)

My second favourite movie appears here - no not Star Wars! Kingsman is just so slick, action packed, funny and very British. Where the hell was the nomination for Samantha Womack?!?!?!? And what's this, Star Wars missing the top 5 :o Well that's made things v v v interesting.

Really shocked by Star Wars there, thought it would walk this. Expecting Inside Out now then! :D

So just missing out on the bronze award is Mad Max: Fury Road There was some Oscar buzz for this mainly coming from some vocal fans online and good critic reviews but I'm not sure that anyone was expecting 10 Oscar nominations to come from this when it was first released. One of the biggest surprise successes of 2015, this received rave reviews from pretty much everyone. I love it because it's just pure action and it's all so visually pleasing to watch unfold from the action, cinematography, costumes and make-up. All the shots are just spectacular and the chase scenes are so tense which all make for one thrilling film.

03. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2 votes)

This ended up being negatively critiqued by quite a lot of movie fans last year but was still a massive box office success and clearly Buzzjack loved it. Unlike pretty much everyone ever, I even preferred this to the first Avengers movie because the main thing that makes these films so enjoyable for me is seeing all the power sets be utilised in fight scenes or problematic situations and for that to be visualised on screen and not just immobile on a comic book page and more characters only added to the cool factor in this for me. Many people had a problem with how light it was but Marvel movies are so enjoyable because they balance humour and action so well in my opinion. I liked Ultron as a villain and thought he seemed pretty menacing due to how he could pretty much be anywhere at any time. There were so many great moments to see on screen like the opening fight scene that introduced Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as well as Hulkbuster vs Hulk. All of these moments were so pleasing to see on screen so it's worthy of its high placing here in my opinion.

BROOKLYN v INSIDE OUT

Can Brooklyn win Best Picture despite not winning one award the entire night? Or can Pixar's animation Inside Out add Best Picture to its multiple wins?

Predict and all will be revealed after a few predictions!

2. Brooklyn- 3 (0 second preferences)

Crying. Crying that the best film of 2015 somehow managed to not win one award. And it was winning all of Best Picture, Best Drama, Best Ensemble, Best Actress, Best Script and something else at one stage. And didn't win one in the end. Oh well. And losing this category by one second preference vote.

As I have raved about this incredible masterpiece very often on Buzzjack, I'll keep this short and sweet. Brooklyn is a beautiful, heartbreaking and touching movie that is one of the best drama's of the past few years and everything the movie does completely excels- especially the performances. I'm so happy this came top two as it is just terrific

And the winner is....

PLEASE Inside Out. The more I think about it, the more I realise how brilliant and perfect it is.

I do really like Brooklyn but shocked it came this high, especially seeing as Room beat it in pretty much every other award and was also nominated here. Glad Inside Out won though because it's my favourite Pixar film

Thanks to the hosts and all the commenters & voters, it's been fun!
