Posted September 28, 200618 yr I figured the fans would know the truth behind this. Meatloaf's next single is called 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now'. When I did a lyrics search I got the lyrics to the Celine song. Is that right? Did Celine sing the original and now Meatloaf has done a version? I thought the track was written by Jim Steinman, who has also worked with Meatloaf in the past. Any answers would be helpful.
September 28, 200618 yr just heard it B) tiz rather fab! I kind of hyped myself up too much for it though and isnt as amaze as i thought it would be, but its still amaze  Celines version however, is better
September 28, 200618 yr Author Cool. I was right then. I was just surprised he was singing a song that Celine had a hit with (as she's not exactly rawk) but it's great news. It's one of my favourite Celine songs. I look forward to hearing it. I wonder how it will work as a duet.

September 28, 200618 yr this is getting huge radio play here in ireland and i have to say he deserves a big hit with this as he has done a great job coveriing it and i wil ldefinitly be buying the single when released
September 29, 200618 yr I thought that as well! It kind of reminds me of 'Id Do Anything For Love' as well
September 29, 200618 yr 'fraid you've all got the story wrong. The song is a cover version... Ms Dion covered the song, but it was originally recorded by Pandoras Box, a spin-off project for producer Jim Steinman, in the late 80s. I have a promo CD single of the original release here.... and, to be honest, it's by far the best of the 3 versions. And Meatloaf and Steinman are virtually co-members of Meatloaf...so, in effect, Meatloaf isn't covering the song, either... he's just using a song his partner wrote but they never recorded together. The song, IMO, is a pale rip off of Total Eclipse of the Heart (Bonnie Tyler's version).... and Celine's even copied the Meatloaf-style video - certainly not the other way round. You can read more on Pandora's Box here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora's_Box_(band)
September 29, 200618 yr Yes, we knew that already :) Although Celine was actually the one that made a [big] hit out of the song. If you ask anyone who sang "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", I'll bet no one (or the odd one) will say Pandora's Box. Also it was Meat Loaf's own fault. He didn't want to record it back then, so Steinman gave it to his own project group. They released it, but it wasn't very succesful so he gave it to Celine. And well, you know what happens afterwards. B) Meat Loaf is ten years too late unfortunately..
September 29, 200618 yr it wont do near as well as celine's versin but i think he will score a hit with it prob his biggest hit in a while i think
September 29, 200618 yr We'll see.. a positive thing is that Celine will *haunt* him everywhere he goes (with the song)..B)
