I hope it's not for the question I'm thinking of because earnings =/= quality. :arrr:

A tough question, good supposedly always beats out evil in the end as we've been taught, but some films do emphasise the clear fact that that isn't always the case in various ways. The top answer (and one I believe was the top choice for a blog on this subject) is the classic genre bending masterpiece, Silence of the Lambs, where it's plotline of cop vs criminal is greatly complicated by the presence of Hannibal Lecter, supposedly NOT the bad guy despite his stance as a convicted cannibal, no spoilers but let's just say he's hard to work out and not to be trusted. Crime drama, Se7en (for my money, one of the finest examples of the villain winning psychologically) comes 2nd, you don't wanna know what's in the box, and The Dark Knight & Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith get a single point. The former another excellent example of a villain totally overpowering the hero in every way and the latter somewhat being obvious due to it's place in the saga as bridging the gap before the original trilogy. I'm very surprised Empire Strikes Back didn't get any points, which for me is a far clearer victory of the villains.

Some other very good shouts that unfortunately don't pick up points. Despicable Me is a bit of a DODGY one but it technically fits, just a shame this isn't pointless, I haven't seen the film yet so I don't know if Dracula wins, but from what I know what happens to him in the original novel, I wouldn't call that a victory.

For clarity, the final girl is the last girl to face the killer to face the killer/the last girl alive but there are also certain characteristics she has to abide by - mainly being a virgin, mild mannered, bookworm, aware something's going though no one will listen to her and scared at first but ends plucking up the courage to fight or escape the killer and live to tell the tale, it has become a trope in many slasher films so in that respect it's quite clear to see Laurie Strode (arguably the archetypal final girl given she embodies all of the qualities above) take the lead. Scream is complex as there's technically two final girls, Sidney and Gail, but (from what I remember of the first movie), Sidney is more the archetype. Ellen from the Alien series is the only other one to score points, who is a tad more tough and resourceful than most final girls are.

Various others listed which I assume are at least girls that don't die and face the killer, including classic and one of the earliest (and meekest) final girls, Sally from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I'm done wondering if Dobbo was answering this seriously or not.

Goddamnit I KNEW I should've gone with the Lambs. I even watched it again not long ago, still so stunning.

Something NSFW now, the winner is the second in one of the most daring yet at the same time pointless franchises, that had to make over 30 cuts before it was deemed suitable for an 18, and believe it or not they've made a third one which I assume will go the same way (don't even read about it). The original Human Centipede as far as I know wasn't actually banned, to my surprise, so is incorrect so count yourselves lucky you picked up a point for that. Other films listed are mainly classics/not seen as unsuitable at all these days, The Exorcist was banned on home video only and A Clockwork Orange that was withdrawn at Kubrick's request, Texas... also was withdrawn thanks to the title containing the word 'chainsaw'.

My quiz answers impact as Mikey is included (*.*), Song of the South (a Disney film believe it or not) I don't believe is banned though it is frowned upon due to it's racist nature, I've never heard of Oliver's answer and don't particularly want to either.
