I turned the third Human Centipede off within 5 minutes :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: Never going to attempt watching the 2nd

YAS at scoring the top points again!

Oops, I thought the Exorcist would get more than that. Growing up there were always stories about how it was banned.
Oh I misread the question, I thought it said "was AND is". :drama:

I LOVE films that do this even if they can be confusing as fuck, the obvious for me was always Pulp Fiction so glad to see it prevail, still a relentlessly entertaining and mind bending thriller to this day. The rather acclaimed Memento (sounds like my thing so should probably check it out) and my favourite ever romance movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind also picks up a few points. Various other films mainly told through flashback are mentioned, some of which may be wrong, I didn't do much research for this (god bless Family Fortunes :magic:). I am quite surprised that Inception didn't get a few more, though the film was such a mindf*** I can barely recall the whole thing to remember if it is non linear :kink:

Pulp did cross my mind, but I thought Memento would run away with it, being as it's as non-linear as a film could possibly be - so I'm surprised by that result.

Yay, this messy question, but despite the still active Star Wars and James Bond original iconic quotes prevailed, as well as what was voted the top movie quote of all time by the AFI in 2002 (and clearly the best, let's face it). Two people incorrectly made the quote 'I am your father' to include 'Luke...' in it, so...well done on your combined ignorance and the fact someone else got it right ;o

The rest can speak (lol) for themselves here, including two different Terminator& Titanic quotes. I did love Iz & particularly bipolar angel's suggestions though, so much for the latter I put it in the thread subtitle even though it got no points <3

Catching up now!

Boo at another 0 pointer, my other choice was Sharni Vinson for You're Next so that would have also scored 0 at least!

Yay for Centipede 2 being the top answer

Boo the quote, was hoping someone else would go for that fantastic Titanic quote! Big yay at other people going for Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, there was no way I wasn't going to go for it as it is one of my favourite movies of all time and such a beautiful movie

I have just realised we don't have a host for the next game so please shoot me a PM right now if you want to host this week!

Not ignorance, trolling :magic:

Surprised no one went for "May the odds..." given it's even referenced in the opening post of the thread with the questions  Definitely what my first thought was until I considered a little more.

In comparison to what's still to come (might take a while to write that up :heehee:), this had relatively few answers given and all towards similar films. The Shawshank Redemption wins out, the highest rated film on IMDb so I suppose that's a good place to start when finding this out, it's a brilliantly heartwarming tale so well deserved. Groundbreaking movies The Godfather & Citizen Kane are close behind (have seen them both yay), and then the top 2 best selling films of all time which thankfully don't come close to being overrepresented here (I don't care how many Oscars it won, Titanic will always be a borefest and Avatar is really quite throwaway past the effects), the only answer not to score is Avengers Assemble, a good superhero movie it might be, I think you may be overestimating it's popularity there.
