I LOVE films that do this even if they can be confusing as fuck, the obvious for me was always Pulp Fiction so glad to see it prevail, still a relentlessly entertaining and mind bending thriller to this day. The rather acclaimed Memento (sounds like my thing so should probably check it out) and my favourite ever romance movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind also picks up a few points. Various other films mainly told through flashback are mentioned, some of which may be wrong, I didn't do much research for this (god bless Family Fortunes :magic:). The Shawshank Redemption wins out, the highest rated film on IMDb so I suppose that's a good place to start when finding this out, it's a brilliantly heartwarming tale so well deserved. Groundbreaking movies The Godfather & Citizen Kane are close behind (have seen them both yay), and then the top 2 best selling films of all time which thankfully don't come close to being overrepresented here (I don't care how many Oscars it won, Titanic will always be a borefest and Avatar is really quite throwaway past the effects), the only answer not to score is Avengers Assemble, a good superhero movie it might be, I think you may be overestimating it's popularity there.
