Posted March 21, 20169 yr http://variety.com/2016/tv/vpage/american-...est-1201734964/ Ryan Murphy revealed that every actor who took the Dolby Theater stage for the “American Horror Story” Paleyfest panel would be back next season on Sunday. That includes cast members Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson, who all attended the Paleyfest event. Gaga has also been confirmed :w00t: No confirmed theme yet, but the slender man one has been confirmed to not be happening.
March 21, 20169 yr Omg yes at that line up, I'm surprised Evan wasn't at Paley though :o I hope he's back next season and I'm still hoping for Jessica Lange to return ^_^ Did you not mention you read that next season may be based around children and we were thinking orphanage? That would be really cool to see tbh Edited March 21, 20169 yr by ℒ𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓼𝒆𝔂
August 16, 20168 yr Author can't believe i made this in march and WE STILL DON'T KNOW THE THEME <_< there has been a TON of teasers on twitter, IG etc but apparently most of them are red herrings and only one is real! The most likely theory atm imo is the "Lost Colony" one, which has the potential to be really interesting! ANYWAY this is back on September 14th, so not long to go! Only ten episodes this time, I'm really hoping this is as good as Hotel was.
August 16, 20168 yr I'm SO hyped for this, i agree that the lost colony one is probably the most likely since its based off of actual events, regardless of what it turns out to be though I'm sure it will be incredible *.* I still want Gaga as an evil fairy tbh
August 16, 20168 yr Are you sure this is only ten episodes? I'm smelling a mid-season hiatus after those 10 episodes. I can see the Lost Colony theory but the promo poster references Creature From The Black Lagoon, so I can also see a summer camp/historical park theme that can build on the lost colony motif. Maybe a summer camp or camping area has been renovated from a centuries-old town or built under an ancient native colony.
August 16, 20168 yr Author INTERESTING you say that because it's also been confirmed it's going to be set in two time frames, mainly in the present. I can so totally see a summer camp over a lost colony! there's been a ton of promo posters which completely differ, I just chose this one because it's pretty to look at :P
August 16, 20168 yr there's been a ton of promo posters which completely differ, I just chose this one because it's pretty to look at :PConsidering Ryan Murphy has become notorious for his horror references as of late, it wouldn't surprise me if they threw in a CFTBL reference this season. Both Hotel and the past season of Scream Queens had The Shining as a main muse.
August 17, 20168 yr Was the summer camp thing not meant to be for Scream Queens though? Black Lagoon sounds awesome tho
August 17, 20168 yr Was the summer camp thing not meant to be for Scream Queens though? Black Lagoon sounds awesome thoI think they decided on the hospital theme before the Comic Con announcement
September 10, 20168 yr That video isn't available in my country apparently so I've yet to see it but I'm not believing anything atm, aren't they putting out as many teasers as possible to throw us but only one is legit?
September 10, 20168 yr I'm thinking that the Lost Colony idea isn't that far fetched now - maybe the "Perfect Illusion" teaser might mean that there are some people stranded and are seeing mirages like they would in a desert, but those mirages were flashbacks to a colony that mysteriously vanished centuries ago?
September 15, 20168 yr Author HOLY SHIT WHAT AN OPENER I have NEVER been more on edge in AHS, this season already has potential to be my favourite one yet. Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett's scenes together were the highlights. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE the documentary style, I was so sceptical when I saw people on twitter berating it but it works SO WELL. Excited to see Gaga next week :cheer: preview for next week: https://twitter.com/Gaga_Canada/status/776375489657245696 Edited September 15, 20168 yr by princess_lotita
September 15, 20168 yr Fantastic opener! I love how 'back to basics' and simplistic it was. It felt very authentic. Like a cross between season 1 and Blair Witch. Angela Bassett'a character is fantastic, this is already the best character she's played on the show. Are AHS actually using that scene from Coven for promo?!
September 15, 20168 yr Lol someone on Tumblr compared My Roanoke Nightmare to My Chemical Romance :P I think that means there are going to be scenes in Roanoke that connect with Coven since all the seasons are connected to each other in some way, so maybe the type of paranormal activity that exists in the present time also existed in both the past time frame and in Coven. I'm digging the mock-umentary style of this season as it feels very much tailored to the present day audience who might not get the horror movie muses from the other seasons. And considering Hotel was full of them... it's probably a good thing. Everyone knows The Blair Witch Project to some degree, and some of the house scenes remind me of The Amityville Horror mixed with Paranormal Activity. I'm really excited to see what type of character Evan plays in this season. He did so well with the sadistic March, so I can see him portraying a more vulnerable character this time around.
September 15, 20168 yr btw FX uploaded the season preview that Lotti has on the Twitter link: 3KUjpSNDlY4 Angela's character is gonna be SO GOOD. (So I'm guessing the theme is True American Horror Story and My Roanoke Nightmare is supposed to be a show within a show?)
