:hi: loyal Spinners :D Welcome to my first ever Quarterly EOY for 2016! As I still have one more chart to compile in March (on 30/03/16), I cannot start this just yet but I'm just letting you know that there will be a Quarterly EOY for Jan-March of this year, yay! :cheer:

 

As with the 2015 EOY, any song that has charted at all in my top 40 in the year of 2016 so far, including songs carrying on from 2015 or re-entering into 2016 will be eligible for this countdown! A reminder that a bi-week at #40 is one "sale" or "K" and a bi-week at #1 is 40 "sales" or "K". The top 120 or so songs are ranked in order of sales that the song has sold this year, not in total (for songs charting in 2015 also).

 

I know there is still the possibility of new entries on the chart of 30/03/16, but here's what the countdown is shaping up to include:

• 118 songs, with:
• 38 having debuted in 2015,
• 5 of which selling over 500K in this year alone (2 of these 5 debuting in 2015 also!),
• 3 songs sharing the title of Heaven, and two sharing Stay,
• The most appearances from Rachel Platten (6), 5 appearances of one of my all-time faves Avicii, as well as other artists who have appeared the most, which are Ellie Goulding (4), Jasmine Thompson (3), LarsM (3) and Diviners (3).

Fingers crossed I haven't miscalculated anything like I did with the 2015 one :unsure:

Predicting Don't Stop to be a surprise top 3 tbh

So uh, it's nearly half of April and I've still not started this :lol: well things have come up this holiday so that's why. I think it's best I just post the spreadsheet as it is, I can still do the 180 Degree EOY as a countdown :P

 

Sales (red column) is the sales its made in 2016, but the Year column is its debut year. All data correct up to the last chart of March (30/03/16). Hopefully there's no errors this time :lol:
