Posted April 4, 20169 yr The latest big Sunday night drama on BBC One is Undercover. It's about a police officer who has been in deep cover for 20 years, spying on his wife, with whom he now has a family. His wife is a well known lawyer, who has been touted to become the first black woman as DPP. I thought the first episode took a while to get going, but like The Night Manager, I imagine they're setting the scene for the remaining series. It was hard to follow in places, but I'll stick with it. Sophie Okonedo was great as usual too!
April 4, 20169 yr this will have to be 1 of the few times i use online streaming, since i'm currently watching the new series of home fires (and starting from next week, recording a programme at the same time) now, if only bbc 1 actually had a plus 1 (but i missed the first episode now, so)
April 4, 20169 yr Author Speaking of BBC One +1, there were plans to have one but ITV & Channel 5 complained to Ofcom and it was scrapped :o
April 5, 20169 yr Speaking of BBC One +1, there were plans to have one but ITV & Channel 5 complained to Ofcom and it was scrapped :o actually, you're right wasn't it meant to be the replacement for BBC3?. *now knows their's no real replacement for BBC3, just an HD bbc 1 which has been moved*
April 6, 20169 yr Enjoyed this! Sophie Okonedo was amazing, especially during the first half of the episode.
May 5, 20169 yr Author I gave up after episode 3 because I wasn't enjoying it. I thought it was too slow paced, but Sophie Okonedo did a great job with what she was given.
