Thank you for posting this, Malcolm :D This is one remix, I absolutely love  Not least because it brought Elvis back to the forefront of popular music, as on June 16th 2002, Elvis reclaimed the record in the UK for the most number 1 singles

Here's some more info about the song:

"A Little Less Conversation" is a song written by Mac Davis and Billy Strange and was originally recorded by Elvis Presley for the movie Live a Little, Love a Little in 1968. It was released by RCA Victor as a single (the b-side being "Almost in Love"), but the release was only a moderate success, indicative of the diminishing returns Presley's movie recordings were exhibiting at the time.

Soon after the release of the single, Presley re-recorded the song for the soundtrack of Elvis Presley's '68 Comeback Special, though this track was not used in the program and would circulate on bootlegs for years before being officially released by RCA in the 1990s.

In 2002, the Comeback Special version of the song was remixed by Junkie XL and became a Number 1 hit in over 20 countries. At about the same time, a compilation of Presley's U.S. Number 1 chart hits, entitled ELV1S 30 #1 Hits, was being prepared for release. "A Little Less Conversation" (remix version) was quickly added as the album's 31st track just before its release in October 2002.

The remixed song was used by Nike as the background music to a series of TV commercials featuring international soccer stars in conjunction with the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It was also featured in the 2001 version of the movie, Ocean's Eleven.

Thanks, Malcolm, I've never seen the extended remix before and I really enjoyed it
