Posted September 30, 200618 yr Brought this over from net. Captioned Where are they now, there is a two page article re this. It is however also captioned the X factor. There is a sub heading for each pop show like popstars which Darius is not featured under at all but everyone else is. second heading is Pop idol which he is featured under but as usual with the scantist of information.i.e. Darius Danesh - his debut single hit number one and his album went platinum. The 26 year old has also played Billy flynn in the westends Chicago. Thats it. But for Michelle mcmanus as an example there is a lot more information saying she plans to release another single and an album shortly and a lot more information for steve brookstein and for a lot of the other 50 artistes mentioned including where a lot of them are living now. For rowetta and a number of others including G4and GG it says they are currently working on new material and plan to release another album soon.
September 30, 200618 yr I always wonder why Darius' achievements are so underplayed. makes me realise it when you read about other people who have faired far worse..and yet are still being hyped to make it not seem so bad..LOL Edited September 30, 200618 yr by prettyinpink
September 30, 200618 yr Author l PIP all of those artistes I have mntioned are under the sony/bmg label which allot SCs artistes are or were (steve brookstein has left that label) and we all know thats why they get or got so much promotion in the media.
October 1, 200618 yr But it's still irksome that we're told that others who are working on new albums but they omit that fact for Darius. Steve Brookstein wanted to write his own songs and he has - he released his new single for downloads last week and for physical sales this week. I think he's got an album out in a couple of weeks.
October 1, 200618 yr Author I agree Baytree. Steve Brookstein has tried to do it his way but to no avail it appears. The tabloids are at it again. I am not a fan but what gives the tabloids the right to try and ruin someones career yet SCs artistes even the bad ones get feted by the tabloids, is it a question of money talks. here is a Write up by carole malone in the sunday mirror today Headed Bucket bound - X factors steve brookstein - he of the cocky disposition and the average voice, says he is ready to make a comeback with his new album called 40,000 things. Thats exactly how many of his albums will be in woolworths bargain bucket the week after its been released. what chance does he stand with write ups like that before it has even come out, brings to mind SCowells comments re Darius' album a week before that came out - more than a co-incidence I think that that was printed a week before and so it appears the same for Steve brookstein.
October 6, 200618 yr I didn't see the list but Ainslie has released his own album. I think you can buy it directly from his website. You might still be lucky and get one of the hand signed and numbered ones. Which reminds me, I keep forgetting to ask Darius to sign my 0006 slipcase for Live Twice. Next time, maybe!

I am so pleased he signed my 0001 slip case for Live Twice :) Sorry, not really :D Hiya Baytree, good morning to you :)

October 6, 200618 yr Good Morning, B.P. I hope life's treating you well! 0001 - I am impressed ! BTW Talking about Ainslie, is anyone still in touch with Heather? She always seemed so lovely. I would be impressed too if I had 0001, but unfortunately I was only joking  I think mine is about 350ish. Life's good at the moment thanks, I hope things are ok for you too :) Ainslie, is that the bloke from the Fame academy you are referring too? I thought he had writing talent, but was a pretty poor singer. It used to really frustrate me, that all the judges would say was,"what a performance" and "you owned the stage" or words to that effect. The truth was he was singing out of tune an awful lot, for a wannabee singer, and all the vocal coaches would do is say about how impressive his stage presence was  Certainly, he had/has some talent, but I wouldn't pay a penny to go and see him perform, even if it was just up the road from my home!
October 7, 200618 yr Why am I always so gullible when it's you, B.P.? :D Your probably dazzled by my good looks and great physique
October 9, 200618 yr I didn't see the list but Ainslie has released his own album. I think you can buy it directly from his website. You might still be lucky and get one of the hand signed and numbered ones. That's absolutely great.
