October 21, 20177 yr Did anyone here keep watching? :D Season 3 was such a dramatic improvement over the first two seasons, particularly the latter half! It's a pity its US ratings fell so considerably while its quality improved. :( Yeah I did. I think the first half of this seasons was exceptionally good but it took a sharp downturn again in the last few eipsodes for me. It's got to the point for me where Alicia is the only character worth investing in
October 28, 20177 yr Season 3 on the whole has been fantastic. A couple of wobbly moments, but million times better than Season 7 of TWD. You actually feel the characters could die (as shown by this series, but lots of big deaths). Madison still irritates me at times, but I am interested for Season 4 now. They have set up a new big bad. Hoping Salazar doesn't kill Strand tho..
January 11, 20187 yr Enjoying the first two series at the moment and enjoying it already so series 3 should be amazing!!
April 27, 20187 yr Just watching season 3 this week and thoroughly enjoying it again. Like how they wrap up all the character arcs, really love Daniels character!!
April 29, 20187 yr Half way through now and this is brillant - the dam really sets up the political interests perfectly with Daniel the law and order man, Lola the blairite and Ephraim the socialist!
April 30, 20187 yr The latest episode........... To say I did NOT see that one coming is a massive understatement!!!!
April 30, 20187 yr Series 4 Jase? Yup. Season 4 episode 3 - I obviously won't spoil anything but :o
May 1, 20187 yr So far this has been an excellent season and the best any TWD show has been in a loooooong time
May 1, 20187 yr It's turned in to the show The Walking Dead wishes it was in the last few series. Great episode with a twist I did not see coming at all, there's not been a bad episode yet this series.
May 2, 20187 yr Author Really enjoying it still! Going to put this in spoilers because several people seem to be behind: but honestly Nick dying really sucks, he's been a great character and it seemed so sudden and needless, plus his interactions with Morgan were fantastic and I wish we could've seen much more of that. It did really surprise me though and in this kind of show "needless" makes sense, plus I heard the actor wanted to leave. Still, he's been iconic for the show and was a key part of its promotion, not sure how the show's going to manage without him, though Alicia's still amazing ofc. Also, I can only assume that from flashbacks and Madison not being there in the "present", plus little hints with the flowers etc that she's either dead, captured (less likely) or Nick at least thought she was dead or something like that.

Yeah. I spent the entire episode thinking 'oh Madison's dead then - that's why Nick is so mad' so I was surprised when Nick died, although I'm not sure she'll be around beyond this season, or that we've seen the last of him, given the non-linear time framing. But realistically I'm not sure how much further they could have taken the character. They sort of boxed him in to a corner last season. The Morgan dynamic was great but was in danger of repeating the Morgan/Rick relationship. The new show runners have made really bold and inspired choices so far and the Western influence/theme works really well in the setting they have. The show is actually one of the best things on telly right now
May 4, 20187 yr Loved series 3 up until they moved away from the ranch! The last two episodes at the dam seemed a bit pointless as we know very little about Proctor John!
August 4, 20186 yr At last I can see this, just hoping E4 are going to show all 4 seasons back to back to catch up
August 5, 20186 yr For anyone yet to watch, E4 are starting from Season 1 on August 12th at 9pm Great news - far too good for E4 imo but it'll keep me going until The Walking Dead starts again in october!!
