January 12, 20178 yr Brilliant news! All sorted for Llandudno in July, theatre and hotel booked. At last, never thought I'd manage it!! Sue
January 15, 20178 yr At last I can understand why Darius is able to commit to the tour now, when he couldn't before. We know he had plans in the US but circumstances have changed. With his new role, he's committed to being in the UK for some time. Presumably, his new producers and director are willing to work around hs tour commitments. I'm so glad Darius is touring. It's been a long time since the History of the Big Bands and even longer since Guys and Dolls. I hope fans won't be miffed that they decided not to buy tickets months ago because Darius said he wasn't doing it and think he's mucked them about. Me, I don't care if I'm up in 'the Gods' at the Kings so long as I can see Darius and Natasha, for the first time. I'll just be posh and use my opera glasses! Funny Girl must be one of the few touring productions to have bona fide West End stars in the lead at every venue. Edited January 15, 20178 yr by Baytree
January 17, 20178 yr I wish he could have done Edinburgh as well. With Charles living there it'd be perfect. Glasgow is good as well and I look forward to that.
March 6, 20178 yr been nominated for best musical revival at the 2017 olivier awards and also Sheridan Smith is nominated for best actress well done!

Also, will he be doing Edinburgh as well? , as I would like to see both. Above your post was links which I clicked on,but only info:was for Norwich, and other link said page not available,so any help/ info you could supply me with i'do be grateful.Thank you,and am looking forward to Monday show.

March 26, 20178 yr Author Thank you very much Megham for info:+ dates for Glasgow. (He had better be there "dead or alive".Ha ha! Will hope I can get booked now?! Could you cast any 'light'on why I no longerror recieve the much welcome Darius news updates via buzzjack? I don't know how or where to find out reason why,so if you could help once again i'do be grateful.Usually these e- mails are news that you or other members have posted.I am not very good when something goes wrong, but for the most part,I manage what I need on Internet.Given my very advanced age,I manage not too badly, but will never be very proficient at this stage of life.I don't have a computer through choice, but manage to meet my needs with this excellent smartphone. Do you think next week would be soon enough to book,as I want to tie up suitable dates for my very busy daughter to schedule. Thanks again, and looking forward to seeing Darius on TV. tomorrow. Can't believe i'very been anamed avid 'fan' of Darius for so many years,as i'very never been a 'fan' of anyone! I used to wonder how people could involve themselves in other people'say lives to 'that degree'! (relative strangers I mean)! BUT here is am,doing just that! Ah Well...
March 26, 20178 yr I tend to book as early as I can. The adverts that Darius is in the show with Natasha have only recently started. Try and get a booking as soon as you can. I always just look on the site to see if anyone has posted here but cover Darius Campbell Archive and News several time in a day. I like Darius as a person and he deserves success. He is a good man.
March 27, 20178 yr Author Thanks again Megham.I will book soonest.Saw him today on "Loose Women".He looked great and conducted his interview with in his usual suave & "seamless" fashion' I often used to wonder ifor there was any nerves in his body. Now,I know there must be.It's just that they'very been constructed from steel!Ha! Joking apart,it was quite a nice change for him to be willing to discuss aspects of his personal life, and he has shown that you can do that, without in depth intrusion.Nice to see the Colourblind video clip too,and photo of his mum & Dad in Loch Lomond. By the way, what adverts were you talking about ? Is it Tv? & which channel.Everything I watch is recorded, and I usually skip adverts, but wI'll look out now. Thanks again for info:
March 27, 20178 yr I doubt he'd have time for too many nerves at the moment. There are a couple of peices about new interview on radio on Darius Campbell Archive and News as well
April 10, 20178 yr Author Wondering. Will Darius mabey be in the audience at the T.v. awards ceremony? Also , does Darius ever appear with Sheridan, during the tour,or have they split things up, so that she tours with Darius's understudy, and that Darius tours with Sheridan understudy? Just curious and a bit puzzling!
April 11, 20178 yr Darius is doing the Edinburgh shows with Sheridan - he's delighted to be doing that part of Scotland as well
April 12, 20178 yr It would be good if they did more shows of the tour together a specially the final leg of the tour in august. Would be nice to see both original leads finish the tour off together. Sorry i know its ages off yet getting ahead of myself :)
April 14, 20178 yr Author While both leading women have been reported as excellent-at the end of the day,it is Darius I am going to see,so living nearer to Glasgow, than Edinburgh;I will probably choose Glasgow ( if tickets are not sold out) So "Darius" you had better take note and "be there" on all the nights in glasgow! or I will be devastated! I didn't give my daughter enoughas notice to book for Edinburgh, so hopefully she will be lucky getting tickets for Glasgow. My daughter has a male friend, who has been a long time avid fan of musicals. He told her, that when he went to see "funny girl " in the west end, that it was the best musical he had ever seen, gave great praise of Darius, and said Natasha was great in her role, and had a was a really good singer, so that's comforting to know, and hopefully the experience in glasgow will be just as good,if not better than in Edinburgh.
April 15, 20178 yr I hope everything goes well. I have seen the show before but am still looking forward to seeing it again - always a little different in theatres
