July 2, 20178 yr Author Good to hear that Darius will be continuing with his singing. I greatly admire the diversity of his many talents & envy his ability to dour so many different things. In my life,I have only ever achieved the best results/ success by absolute total focus on one aspect, which has ensured I came out on top- whereas if I had tried to shine in a number of things,my Intense focus would not have been possible, thus affecting the success in the most important objective. Sadly perhaps,I learned long ago that life/ success is like one long'numbersgame' of sorts, and that total focus on one element increased the numbers greatly. However I still envy and admire, and respect the many talents that Darius possesses, is successful in, and probably brings him more satisfaction and happiness! You know, when I heard him singing the theme songoing for 'The Godfather, it was so great that you imagined he was that fictional Godfather. Yes he has great talent. Many of his greatest singing performances are never heard by the wider public.Shame!

August 10, 20177 yr Finally got to see the show in Manchester last night. Couldn't make London for various reasons and the one I had booked in Llandudno was cancelled. It was well worth the wait! Brilliant show and well deserving of the standing ovation it received. Wonderful chemistry between Darius and Sheridan and they completely captivated the audience. Only wish I had the chance to see it again before it closes. Sue
August 15, 20177 yr An article in the Daily Express about Funny Girl: http://www.express.co.uk/travel/activity/8...s-week-6-August
August 17, 20177 yr In another interview he did with natasha the other day they were asked what other musicals they would like to be in. Darius said he'd love to be in les mis. I do think he would be great as jaun val jaun. I'd like to see him as Javert and see him performing Stars live on stage but he could make a good fist of either role.
August 17, 20177 yr Saw a tweet tagging Darius which said knowing Funny Girl was to be shown in cinemas had made her life. I hope that's right. If it's shown in cinemas it will probably get a DvD/Bluray release. Well deserved too!
August 18, 20177 yr Has anyone been keeping track of the tour reviews? There are so many. Would it be a good idea to pin even one from each venue just for the record?
August 18, 20177 yr It's the scene where Nick decides to go with the bond scheme which gets him jailed. The CD only includes It's my neck bit. Didn't Darius sing his lines to a snatch of Don't Rain on my Parade at that bit, or am I mistaken?
August 18, 20177 yr Darius has done more Funny Girl shows than anyone, including Sheridan, and he's done most of the local media interviews etc. for the show. Natasha J Barnes also did quite a bit too both with Darius and solo.
August 19, 20177 yr Well never managed to see the show:( maybe the next one. break a leg for the final show Edited August 19, 20177 yr by polly
August 19, 20177 yr There was a single tweet which seemed that someone had told the tweeter that Funny Girl would be coming to cinemas. If it does, don't miss it. I missed the showings of FHTE and have regretted it even although I have the DvD and a recording on my sky HD BOX. This time, if given the chance, I am determined to see Darius on the silver screen
August 19, 20177 yr That's fantastic news if it is true. Is there any1 going today so they can find out please. Definitely going if it is. I went to see fhte which was great :cheer:
