It has changed so mush throughout the run that you can't guarantee that it wont have changed again next time. Loved how it is now though

I was so wrong when I said way back when the tour was announced and Darius wasn't going to do it, that I didn't think he'd gain anything anyway, because there wasn't much more he could do with Nick.

 

 

Thought we should have a thread for some of the many tour reviews before they disappear.

Thanks, Polly. I suspected they might film it when they announced 2 weeks in Manchester. Then came the sole tweet and I crossed my fingers.

 

It's so good to have a record of what Darius has done and able to watch/listen any time.

Hi Baytree . A record of what? Are you and Polly talking about 'Funny Girl' or Darius making a recording of his own??

Sorry for the confusion Eden I heard megham had said funny girl had been recorded for dvd yesterday. Maybe we ask her to confirm this please.

Sorry, just meant something to keep that we could hear/watch over and over.

 

If it goes like FHTE, it will be shown in a selection of cinemas and then issued as a DvD and possibly on Bluray too.

We'll just have to wait and see if it's true

The tour started at the end of February at Manchester. Then Milton Keynes, Liverpool and Bristol - all starring Sheridan Smith and Chris Peluso as Nick. So - No Darius in the first block of reviews.

 

Then I'll try to find reviews of Natasha and Sheridan's understudies, Jennifer Harding and Alexandre Waite-Roberts. Darius was onstage with them

 

Darius did all venues from Edinburgh onwards, with Sheridan or Natasha J Barnes.

Megham said it had definitely been filmed. I shouldn't think we'll hear much else for a month or two. They've probably got a lot of footage to edit.

 

If there's a DvD I hope there will be some extra features crediting Natasha and Chris.
