Posted May 3, 20169 yr Madonna is known to make an appearance at Met Gala and usually end up as one of the talking points, but 2016 has seen her blow all previous years out of the water with this little number she's almost wearing: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/05/03/01/33C269A300000578-3570313-image-a-30_1462235876326.jpg http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/05/03/01/33C268E300000578-3570313-image-m-29_1462235868899.jpg 1IeiLgswio4 LOs8eM6SVgA
May 3, 20169 yr So what if you have a fab body when you have a face that looks like it's been dragged out of the OCEAN after a weeks decomposition. Like, seriously, her face is the worst I've EVER seen it there. The outfit is par for the course at this point, it's utterly abysmal and it doesn't even come down to being age inappropriate, it's just vile.

Tbf, I don't think her face looks bad, I think it's just her eyes are noticeably tired looking with huge bags under them, which isn't helped by her pale skin. Not at all unexpected after the tour.
May 5, 20169 yr Her response: @madonna We have fought and continue to fight for civil rights and gay rights around the world. When it comes to Women's rights we are still in the dark ages. My dress at the Met Ball was a political statement as well as a fashion statement. The fact that people actually believe a woman is not allowed to express her sexuality and be adventurous past a certain age is proof that we still live in an age-ist and sexist society. I have never thought in a limited way and I'm not going to start. We cannot effect change unless we are willing to take risks By being fearless and By taking the road leas traveled by. Thats how we change history. If you have a problem with the way I dress it is simply a reflection of your prejudice. I'm not afraid to pave the way for all the girls behind me‼️ As Nina Simone once said, the definition of freedom is being fearless. I remain Unapologetic and a Rebel ❤️ in this life and all the others. Join my fight for Gender. Equality! 🙏🏻 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/67d90ee8.gif Outfit is still VILE but I can accept that.
May 5, 20169 yr I dont agree with her statement whatsoever. Any girl, of whatever age, would get trashed for that dress. Also if a man appeared with his nipples showing and a thong up his ass, he would get burnt just as much, if not more. That's why all of them wear the same version of the same safe suit to all these things. I just think she's desperate for attention, and that is getting worse with age. May 5, 20169 yr Author I think that she does believe in showing the world woman can be and feel sexy at any age and such extremities as this are in attempt to hammer the point home as much as possible (it's the same with anything, if you say something blunt and direct, it's going to cause more of a reaction than if you're sitting on the fence). However, I do agree that if anyone wore something like that, there would be complaints. I think her outfit last year put her point across much better, particularly in the shots where she was stood with Katy Perry for comparison and Madonna showed that she's still got it.
May 5, 20169 yr It's ART DAHLING. You just don't GET IT. A few years ago I would maybe have bought that, either due to being a blinkered loon or her actually appearing to be a woman who makes bold statements because she feels it's an important thing to do. But in 2016, that is nothing more than a woman who has been lambasted for wearing a monstrous outfit and is trying to ''explain'' it as a means of damage limitation. I'm all for her showing that older women can be sexy, but whipping your tits out (essentially) and baring your arse isn't especially sexy at ANY AGE.
May 5, 20169 yr Can we PLEASE have more of this look Madge http://squaremadonnaicongallery.altervista.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/ghosttown.jpg Best she'd looked in years.
May 5, 20169 yr YES! She looks incredible there, and not because she has clothes on, but rather because it's a look which works for her, but also is something that would work on someone half her age and also look fab. That's the kind of point she needs to make, even at almost 60 she can still wear what a 30 year old does and look amazing. That's far more powerful and more of a challenge to the accepted logic that older women can't be sexy than whatever that is above.
May 8, 20169 yr Also love that look. She pulls that off much better than the more scantily laden attires.
