Posted March 29, 200619 yr Any self-respecting metalhead needs this album...... Come on, are we seriously gonna leave it up to HIM (even though I like em and all..) or Evanescence to be the public face of Gothic Rock......?
March 29, 200619 yr Defo will be DL this album, the Vocals and melodys are brilliant, mixed with Metal!!!
April 21, 200619 yr I got the album yesterday, but I left it at my boyfriend's house. I'm getting it back sometime next week, or whenever he decides to give it me back.
April 21, 200619 yr Author 'Tis fab, it's got the "Our Truth" vid clip on it as well..... Nick it back of your boyfriend pronto.....!
April 25, 200619 yr Well, I got it, and upon first listens, I'm not impressed. It's really bland, especially compared with the awesomeness that was "Comalies". But that said, even that didn't grow on me until after a while, so I'll probably come around. Hopefully. <_<

I'm hearing elements of Korn, Led Zeppelin, Sisters of Mercy, Fear Factory, Tool and Classical Music in 'Karmacode', and a pretty blinding cover of DM's "Enjoy The Silence to boot. Evanescence have never been this musically ambitious..... But in saying that, it does somewhat fall slightly short of the sheer magnificence and majesty of Within Temptation's "Silent Enigma"....
