Any self-respecting metalhead needs this album...... Come on, are we seriously gonna leave it up to HIM (even though I like em and all..) or Evanescence to be the public face of Gothic Rock......?

I got the album yesterday, but I left it at my boyfriend's house.

I'm getting it back sometime next week, or whenever he decides to give it me back.

Well, I got it, and upon first listens, I'm not impressed. It's really bland, especially compared with the awesomeness that was "Comalies". But that said, even that didn't grow on me until after a while, so I'll probably come around. Hopefully. <_<

Dunno how you can say that and then praise the generic Nu-Metal dullness that is Evanescence to the skies, Karmacode is musically vastly superior to anything Ev has ever done.. I'm hearing elements of Korn, Led Zeppelin, Sisters of Mercy, Fear Factory, Tool and Classical Music in 'Karmacode', and a pretty blinding cover of DM's "Enjoy The Silence to boot. Evanescence have never been this musically ambitious.....

But in saying that, it does somewhat fall slightly short of the sheer magnificence and majesty of Within Temptation's "Silent Enigma"....
