Glad to see such universal love for the Can't Stop The Feeling :) it's a great song, love the retro disco feel, yet it's perfect for the summer! Should easily give him another #1, especially if he's performing it at Eurovision.

 

Only heard 'Into You' once, but it didn't make much of an impression on me, which is surprising as I normally lap up a Max Martin. I'm sure I'll grow to like it once I start hearing it on the radio though.

 

Haven't heard the Nathan Sykes song yet so can't comment on that. And as for '6 Inch' (I presume she's talking about Jay-Z?!) it's nowhere near my favourite on the album, I still keep alternating between 'Hold Up' and 'Daddy Lessons'.

'Can't Stop the Feeling!' was really instant for me; it's like a combination of 'Get Lucky' and 'Happy', exuding such joy and summery vibes. This could potentially be huge over summer and possibly become his best seller I think.

 

There's definitely a place in today's music world for All Saints - they've updated their sound but retained what made them special to begin with and I think this could have caught on if commercial radio supported it. That was the biggest downfall as I think most people would have not listened through choice due to them being a girl band who was last relevant in the 90s.

 

Sia unfortunately suffers from the influx of good new music about right now. :( 'Work' has literally worked on me and I've been liking it again recently after the recent spell of sunshine to accompany it. Definitely a song that sounds best in the club than it does listening through choice though, hence it never reaching a high peak.

 

I really thought 'Make Me Like You' was going to catch on - Radio 1 played it a couple of times, it's got that disco influence and Gwen is still considered pretty cool by people my age.

It's got all the qualities to be a summer smash that is loved by anyone of any age; I can really see this being huge for him. Drake seems unstoppable at the moment but I'd say Justin has a better chance of getting to #1 than Calvin/Rihanna right now.

 

'Into You' was really instant for me; early days but could end up being my favourite this era! Oh yes, Max Martin is just king of pop production!

 

'Give It Up' is definitely the best of Nathan's singles; really gutted it looks set to miss the Top 40. :( Worth a listen, even if you're not a fan.

 

The whole Beyonce album is so good, lots of highlights that keep alternating - 'Freedom' is the recent one to hit me. 'Hold Up' is probably one of my least favourites though and I'm not quite sure why that's caught on so well whilst others haven't.
