she isn't going to do anything urban, it'll still be the same sound. the only reason she did that track with 7 is because they're label mates lol.

 

Well that is good to hear, I do hope that she adds a bit more up-tempo stuff to her next album though...something along the lines of Alicia Keys, like someone said earlier in the thread.

There's nothing gangster about her new single - it's the same old piano trollop.

she was never planning on going gansta anyway. she just lent out her vocals on her label mate's song, who happens to be in the hip hop genre.

 

the full version of "nolita fairytale" should be interesting. i hope it's a hit.

 

"hands on me" is a possible second single too, and her album, 'heroes and thieves', is set for a october 9th release.
