I have only talked about funky house because it is one of the new events of the charts at the minute with the new Clean Bandit song, the upcoming Sigala one and the Sigma one (half FH and half drum and bass admittedly).

 

It is undeniable how the production of the new Clean Bandit/Louisa Johnson track is similar to that of the genre, which was a big chart force during the mid 00s and so it seems a fair comparison.

 

I come from a dance perspective, if there were suddenly new trance or trance like tracks or dubstep tracks in the charts I would be talking about that.

 

I made the comparison of early 00s funky house with Clean Bandit because I had seen how loads of people compared the recent Meghan Trainor track to early 00s R&B and because of the early 00s revival in the chart everyone was talking about anyway.

 

I only made so many posts because I am a new member too. And also I didn't just talk about mid 00s funky house and the Clean Bandit track, I talked also about pop stars who didn't really take off such as Tich and Chloe Howl.
