Single for the new @Ghostbusters movie is available for preorder tomorrow and is out in cinemas 7/15 #GIRLSTALKBOYS

 

Hyped for brand new 5SOS!

Pre-orders is pointless now. If I were them I'd release it, its not like their going to benefit from a held back release.

I assume it won't be held back in the traditional sense, it'll still be OA/OS but the fanbase can pre-order it a bit early.

...which is completely the wrong strategy for a boy band, if you ask me. It absolutely destroyed any momentum The Vamps' 'Wake Up' could have had (whilst 5SoS managed to get 'She's Kinda Hot' all the way to #1 on iTunes, The Vamps didn't even manage Top 10, thus missing out on essential visibility for non fanbase sales). Yes, I know 'Wake Up' peaked higher, but that was due to the physical release also benig OA/OS, I'm pretty sure they would have kept their Top 10 streak if they didn't put it up for pre-order!

 

Same case goes for any pre-order (even held back releases) - maybe apart from anonymous dance acts - now that iTunes don't lump pre-orders onto the songs pop bars.

The reference to "girls" and "boys" makes me think this will be a rip-off of something, like Blur or Good Charlotte.

5SOS and the Vamps alike both suffered huge declines of interest with their second album releases and singles, both had no momentum. For both bands the 3rd album now looks likely to be the make or break so they both need to work hard on all aspects to achieve impressionable success again.

I didn't even know they were still together. Lol.

 

Like the song but it's not one of their best, the hook is a bit chant-y for me and I prefer the other 'half' of the song.

^ I thought that on the first few listens but I'm fully on board now! The video is fun although I'm now even more confused as to who sings what parts :')
