Biography - Kungs

The esoteric touches found in the music of Kungs can be traced back to the French producer's unlikely first instrument, a djembe given him by his parents. Born Valentin Brunel and raised in Aix-en-Provence, Kungs grew up with a rock & roll-loving father who often ventured into other genres. The young producer absorbed it all, then discovered electronic music on his own in his teen years, preferring house with its upfront vocals and luxurious melodies. He began recording and uploading his own bootleg mixes around 2014, hitting with his edits of Bob Marley's "Jammin'," Lana Del Rey's "West Coast," Serge Gainsbourg's "Bonnie & Clyde," and Coldplay's "Clocks." The official remix requests came in 2015 with the producer getting a crack at Axwell & Ingrosso's "On My Way," while his collaboration with Mozambo, "To Describe You," landed that same year and earned a spot on the Hed Kandi: Tropical House compilation. A tour of Europe as opener for David Guetta followed in 2016, along with his "This Girl" single, recorded in collaboration with Cookin' on 3 Burners. - iTunes

Biography - Cookin' On 3 Burners

Comprising additional elements of jazz and street soul, Cookin’ on 3 Burners are a prestigious R&B group hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Originally made up of Hammond organ player Jake Mason, guitarist Lance Ferguson, and drummer Ivan Khatchoyan, the trio formed in 1997 after discovering they shared similar tastes in sound and genre. The three friends decided to form the band with traditional '50s- and '60s-era jazz and soul as its foundation, unified by the eclectic and prominent use of the Hammond organ, which went on to become one of the most definitive aspects of their sound; so much so that the group was also exclusively referred to as the "Hammond organ trio." The ensemble released their first 7" single, "Gravel Rash/Pie Warmer" on the Bamboo Shack label, eventually going on to join the roster of revered U.K. label, Freestyle, which put out their full-length debut, Baked, Broiled & Fried, in 2007. The trio then went on to tour and perform alongside a vast array of household acts such as Alice Russell, Quantic, Fat Freddy's Drop, and Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings. Sometime thereafter, Ferguson left the group to focus on his own funk project, the Bamboos, and was replaced by Dan West. They released their second effort, Soul Messin’, in 2009 to huge success. The record received praise for its funk-infused and highly original cover of Gary Numan's monster hit, "Cars" while the album’s lead single, "This Girl," reached the number one spot on the U.K. iTunes R&B Chart. The group then returned in 2014 with their third record, Blind Bet, which met with further acclaim, most notably for its innovative use of string and horn arrangements, and an impressive host of featured artists including Daniel Merriweather, the Bamboos' vocalist Kylie Auldist, and the Cruel Sea frontman Tex Perkins. They went on to collaborate with Perkins once more on the 2015 single "The Writing’s on the Wall," which saw the group combine their trademark soul and jazz sound with Perkins’ widely recognized swampy blues-rock stylings. It was around this time that the group began working with the Australian hip-hop artist Mantra. The collaboration took the band in a new direction, introducing more hip-hop-based tempos and funk electro vibes to their mixes. Cookin' on 3 Burners continued to branch out further with their collaborations, working with prominent French electronic producer Kungs on a reworking of "This Girl," which also saw chart success in 2016. - iTunes

Biography

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, record producer, recording artist and remixer. His debut studio album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and was the precursor to his top-10 singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". In 2009, Harris released his second studio album, Ready for the Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and earned a gold certification from the British Phonographic Industry within two months of release. Its lead single, "I'm Not Alone", became his first number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Harris rose to international prominence in 2012 with the release of his third studio album, 18 Months. Topping the UK charts, the album became his first to chart on the Billboard 200 in the US, reaching number 19. All eight of the album's singles; "Bounce", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", "Thinking About You" and "Feel So Close", along with "We Found Love" reached the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.

Harris has collaborated with numerous other recording artists, including Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, John Newman, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, Ne-Yo, Cheryl Cole and Gwen Stefani. His collaboration with Rihanna led to two singles, "Where Have You Been" and "We Found Love". The latter became an international success, giving Harris his first US number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Harris released his fourth studio album, Motion, in November 2014. It debuted at number two in the UK and number five in the US, and became Harris's second consecutive number-one album on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album's first three singles—"Under Control", "Summer" and "Blame"—all topped the UK chart.

Harris holds the record for the most top 10 songs from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with nine top 10 entries, surpassing Michael Jackson. In October 2014, he became the first artist to place three songs simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He also became the first British solo artist to reach more than one billion streams on Spotify. Harris has received ten Brit Award nominations—three for Best British Male, and four Grammy nominations, winning a Grammy for Best Music Video in 2013. He received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2013 and at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was named Top Dance/Electronic Artist. Additionally, Harris topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid DJs for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015. Harris also runs his own record label Fly Eye Records. - Wikipedia

Biography

Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. During the group's hiatus, Timberlake released his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which included the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.

His critically acclaimed second album, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), characterized by its wide range of musical influences, debuted atop the US Billboard 200 and produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". With his first two albums exceeding sales of 10 million copies worldwide, he was established as one of the most commercially successful singers of the decade. He also has collaborated with other artists, including "Give It to Me" (with Timbaland) and "4 Minutes" (with Madonna). From 2008 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus; he held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time, and Friends with Benefits.

In 2013, Timberlake resumed his music career with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, exploring neo soul styles with the song structures of 1960s and 1970s rock. The former became the best-selling album of the year in the US with the largest sales week, and spawned the top-three singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors", while the latter produced the top-ten song "Not a Bad Thing". In 2016, Timberlake will voice the lead character in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls, accompanied by the release of the song "Can't Stop the Feeling". Cemented as a touring solo artist, Timberlake plays several instruments in his live performances, accompanied by his band, The Tennessee Kids. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2013. Timberlake's work has earned him numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, and four Emmy Awards, the latter being for his appearances on Saturday Night Live. His other ventures include record label Tennman Records, fashion label William Rast, and the restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality. - Wikipedia

London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue caught the attention of the industry with his reimagining of Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit "Fast Car."
